Washington, DC-Not even the pretense of a president claiming not to know could deny the outpouring of patriotism in the nation’s Capitol today.
We The People came to Washington today. They came from every state; they came from other countries, proof positive that the Lamp of Liberty long ago set alight in America, burns to the present day in the Free World.
They came with their neighbours, their children and grandchildren, their flags and their pets.
They came to take a strong stand for the values and principles that make America In a sea of red, white and blue, Americans from all walks of life and their supporters proved that patriotism will always trump politics.
Aware that the mainstream media would downplay their numbers and the significance of 9-12, hundreds of thousands of Americans out today to protest massive government spending and massive government health care no longer count on the MSM for coverage. It is one of the necessities of a czar-studded Barack Obama Administration that We The People are now the media.

‘We the people come to Washington’...and we clean up after ourselves when we leave. Compare to the wasteland left behind after the Soetoro Infatuation in January by the ‘Greenies’...a National Disgrace on the National Mall.
It’s being reported that Marine Corps 1 flew over the crowd as Obama was fleeing the city. He has to have seen it.
Remember “Earth Day” in Central Park in NYC? 2.2 million pounds of trash(coke cans hamburger wrappers, etc)left by the “environmental” freaks.
I hope there are AFTER shots from this -vs- the million man march, etc...
I have seen after shots from their march- buch of disgusting filthy pigs- how could they walk around in that filth let alone walk away and just leave it there

Unlike Oblabba these are the people that are going to provide the, “HOPE AND CHANGE.” WE are the people that will identify the corruption that is Washington and the HOPE is that we can CHANGE it.
Zero wasn’t hiding. He was out fighting instead of listening to the hundreds of thousands of citizens who had travelled to his front porch to be heard.
Again consider this on the lines of your representative at a town hall meeting disrespecting his constituants or your representative not showing at all. They are not listening and shows us how deeply entrenched thier agenda is and what we are really up against! We are being respectful up to now. How long this will last?
I’m glad our dear Canadian friends are reporting this. Too bad the American Press seems to be ignoring this story for some reason.

I am waiting to see if the Democrats are stupid enough to cram through Congress, a health care bill that the polls are showing an average of 70% against. The voters that would gain because of this bill, they already have. It is the people they pulled this time because of Iraq that they will lose on a grand scale. One would think they learned a lesson in 1994. Something in me says they may be stupid enough to pull the nuclear option and shove it through though. The Silver-tongued Valedictorian might well talk them into it.

Washington insiders ignored the average American and pushed through the bank bailout,then the auto buyout,then the cash for clunkers,.....I have concluded the Democrats don't care what their people back home think or want,and RINOs like McCain are so desperate to be seen as reasonable that they will do nothing to stop the change.
