looking at the Left ^ | 9/12/09 | El Marco

Posted on 09/12/2009 11:57:33 PM PDT by el marco

If you missed being there, this photo essay is the next best thing.

This event had been promoted as a taxpayer “tea party” but the crowd’s concerns wide ranging, from outrage at ACORN and Obama’s socialist cadre known as Czars, to Obama’s untruthfulness. Protesters also displayed signs mocking Nancy Pelosi and others for smearing the grassroots movement as “astroturfers” and as an angry mob.

ABC News reports that two million Americans flooded D.C. in what people in the crowd were calling "a conservative Woodstock" Like the liberal Woodstock of the '60s, thousands were rumored stranded on freeways. Some walked in to DC, ditching their cars and busses. Photobucket

Must be some young pups on FreeRepublic. I laughed when I read "elderly" as well. I've got 15 years on that man and I still don't think of myself as elderly just quite yet.

Maybe because they were out numbered by 2 million to one... and their Zero left town ( like the coward he is ) when he didn't like the message of 2 million people.

Obama’s thugs would not have had a chance with our group in

dc yesterday. In fact, I saw no one demonstrating in behalf of Obama; all were protesting big government, taxes, Acorn, etc.

I “Semper fi’d” enough Marines yesterday to form a company, including a Captain. That was on one side of the Capitol, all the way back in the trees.

My bet there were enough vets, of all services, to form a fighting regiment. If they can march the 1.6 miles, they could fight anywhere they choose.

This is what the press will say about the march if they say anything. “About 4,500 old rich white people with their spoiled children in tow, protested today at the steps of the Capital.”

The White House will be working on the measures they need to put in place to prohibit these demonstrations from being organized. They will need to control the media more completely and severely limit free speech and information exchange on the internet. Be vigilant. These are very dangerous times for freedom.

Yes. They are desperate. Their last final straw will be to call it somehow “racist” or “domestic terrorist”. They are moving in that direction right now, with psy war and PR plans, if you ask me. These people, these POWER FREAKS, are NOT going to go quietly into that cold, dark night, IMHO.

First, choose a hosting service like photobucket or http://www.picturehosting.com/ (unless you have your own website, which you can use to host the photos) and upload your pix THERE. Then, in the posting window type (without the space after the < ): < img src=”url of the picture”> Simple as that.

Like FreeKeys said, uploading to an image hosting sight and then post it here using FR's own Basic HTML guide under HELP.

History will thank you.
