9/12 story fails to make the "top" stories on the local news here in the Bay Area

Posted on 09/12/2009 10:16:35 PM PDT by Kevin in California

Watching the local powerhouse 10 o'clock news here in the Bay Area and they opened up with the following stories.

1) Biden's visit in SF to support Boxer 2) Local lightning fires that started 1/2 small locag grass fires 3) A Richmond gang related shooting 4) An Oakland drive by shooting 5) Another Richmond shooting 6) A teen relationship story 7) A local healthcare townhall meeting 8) Obama in MN. 9) FINALLY, at 10:15 they reported the 9-12 protest in DC and spent a grand total of about :27 seconds reporting on it.

ABC radio news on the hour only reported the Zer0 speech!

The MSM is truly dead.

I imagine Barry and his sidekick, David Axelgrease have warned their eunuchs in the state run MSM that, if they like their jobs, they better be pushing CommieCare and only ObamaCare.

If there was a Gay March of 50 people it would have made headlines in the SF Chronicle and Sac Bee.

It got the same treatment here. Three stories before it was even covered. So what? Somewhere, someone is trembling and wondering how they can stop this.

Bless all you FReepers who made it there.

Election day 2010 will be even harder for them to ignore.

Once upon a time there was real reporting in the bay area. you may have to wait till Monday morning to get news on the radio.

Remember it was only a few years ago when we protested MTBE in Sac, and the CHP said it was the largest crowd ever. the only news source that mentioned the size of the crowd, was KSFO. The Bee reported on the 20 or so pro-MTBE supporters...

Pure censorship & cover up. Not to mention craven.

The coverage in the state-run media reminds of the treatment we got when the Yes on 8 side came out in droves the Saturday before the election. What the Yes on 8 campaign achieved was really something special that day, and the state-run media painted a totally false picture of what occurred here in Sacramento.

To see the truth of it, look at this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAvEoXqGuP4

The state-run media covered this up, just like they are doing now with the tea-party protest today.

I had to laugh at Yahoo News today about midday. To their credit, they had a photo on the left of the protests in Washington. But the top lead story to the right was the death of some commie “revolutionary” who fought with Castro years ago. The juxtaposition was disgusting, but hilarious at the same time.

Similar situation here in L.A.

ABC sent one truck almost two hours too early to the Federal Building in Westwood. People had gathered, yes, but the event was nowhere near ready to start. ABC stayed about 5 minutes and disappeared.

The only other ‘media’ consisted of some little leftist rag’s two reporters who interviewed the ONE demonstrator who was against us and then they disappeared as well.

Par for the course. We did have tons of support from passersby though — loads of thumbs up and horn honking et al. Naturally there was backlash from some as well, but considering this is West L.A., and just blocks from UCLA, the whole turnout was amazingly great!

If anyone has pix, please post! Thanks!

I like that they’re ignoring us. Less opposition while we’re carrying out our plan to take back our country. They’re MO has always been to put their heads in the sand and this time, it’s really gonna cost them!

MSM is owned by traitors, enemies of this country and what it stands for.
They need to go down for this and the perpetrators of this coup be hung when we get this nation back.

"Election day 2010 will be even harder for them to ignore."

Don't bet on it. They probably already have all the ballot boxes made up and pre-stuffed. And MSM already has the script of polling numbers leading up to the election to make it sound all fair and close, but some last minute bombs will give them a sweeping win.

Who ever thinks that they will trust their fate to a "fair" election is kidding themselves.

Watched the same “news.” Was in Sac for Tea Party kickoff Aug 28 & could find only 1 news story from Sac Bee. Quoted someone who was (to say the least) not representative (”it’s the end of times..”). Did not mention the 20 trucks circling the capitol nor the tractors lined Up in front. I wondered if they had even been there.

Its less frustrating when you accept the Mainstream Media for what they are: Propaganda arms of the Socialist Movement in America.
Watch them for weather reports if you must -- but don't tune them in for the news - you'll just get a leftward slant on what is reported, and what is left unreported...

We need to work on excising this cancer from our Country.

I thank God every day that I escaped the pestulant cesspool of communist leprosy that is called San Franciso a year ago. The big one can’t come too soon for me. I want to see Mayor Newsome’s holding office on the Farallons.

Living for 12 years in San Francisco almost ruined me mentally. What a communist hell hole.

Fortunately, the San Francisco Comical is short for this world. They’ll be bankrupt soon. Hoorah!
