Here is an NBC video report on the massive "Taxpayers March on Washington" today. The NBC reporter, Tom Costello, led into the piece by saying Park Police estimated the crowd in the "tens of thousands," but he said "Our own people (NBC's) say in the hundreds of thousands."
The report describes the message of the crowd, and shows scenes from the rally.
NOTE: If the NBC people are willing to say "Hundreds of Thousands," be sure it was AT LEAST that many! . . . (VIDEO)

Sometimes I wonder if our side is the only one that watches the NBS “news” shows.
Around 15 to 20 hundred thousand.
What? I can’t hear NBC. Was that a death rattle or just a gurgle?
Just read this on a lib website that was bashing Michelle Malkin.
“Crowd density for D.C. events goes at 20,000 adults to the acre.
This shot looks to me to be approximately 100-feet by a half-mile or so. 250,000 sq. ft., or 6 acres, to slide rule pre-calculation guesstimation.
120,000 to 150,000 people. Right in front of the camera.
Then you add the participants who were not in this image.
If this is real, I do want to see the aerials. Seriously....”
I guess that means there was a whole bunch of folks out marching today!
The Park Police do not make estimates.
In other words, I do not want reality to be what it is.
What was the size of the crowd in Washington...the thing speaks for itself.
Wouldn’t you think that by now they would have a more accurate method of estimating crowd size for events in DC? It’s not like they are a once in awhile event. They happen all the time time and every time there are widely varying numbers reported. Of course, some groups don’t want an accurate count, it’s to their advantage to have their friends in the MSM spin the descriptions to make the event appear to be well attended.
I was disappointed in FOX all day numbering it in the tens of thousands...as late as an hour ago one of them said on the order of 60 thousand when it was clearly many times that number.
And then, when you add the many local events all over the country, I believe it was approaching the 2-3 million particiants (if not more) all across the country.
God bless us all as we seek to take our nation back and restore our Constitution.
From an article in USA Today about the Park Police counting the crowd for Obama’s inauguration.
“If the National Mall is densely packed from Third Street to the Washington Monument, and if the area from the monument to the Lincoln Memorial has an average density, the space could contain 1.5 million people, Barna said. Average density is one person per 5 square feet. A tightly packed crowd has a density of one person per 2.5 square feet, an area slightly larger than this newspaper.” http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2009-01-19-crowd_N.htm
I can best describe it this way:
GREAT POST & VIDEO & BTTT !!
Watch the timelapse on this link and judge for yourself. Tens of thousands my BUTT!

The one shot of Pennsylvania Ave I have seen shows what has to be 300,000 people.
I think it’s easier to count ‘RAT crowds because you can just count the school buses with the Obama logos on them.
Yeah, well I have been looking for the arials but have been trying to come up with a formula for the stop motion posted earlier.
If I get the arials anyone of us can make a quick calculation.
“astroturf”...I pray and so should ya’ll the Dems keep that mindset, encourage it!
The news organizations including FOX citing tens of thousands or less than 100k are being disingenuous and they probably are aware of that. The pictures alone show that to be a lie.
At the same time I was sceptical of the 2 million claims.
I’d say something under a million and something over 200k. A lot of ground inbetween for people to argue over but fairly I’m certain a few hundred thousand at least were present. That actually is impressive as conservatives gnerally do not do things like this. One conservative is worth 3 or 4 bussed in career activists imo.
Read my post again. I said 15 to 20 HUNDRED thousand. ...which of course is 1.5 to 2 million.
(I was just going by ABC’s estimates from earlier in the day).
