My black 1 and 1/2 year old used to point at other black children running around the playground and call them Annies which was her name." Not surprising; kids are very consious of differences. Its what they are taught to make of those differences that shapes them. Present overly race consious school programs tend to make kids think racially.

I need more. Do you have a reference for this? I’m teaching To Kill a Mockingbird to my seniors. We are watching Scottsboro: An American Tragedy and I have to discredit the Communist Party after we are done. I have resources from the NAACP, but I would like info on the term “racist”. Thanks!
