Thursday afternoon, MSNBC anchor David Shuster—who earned his stripes as a producer of “news segments” of the Michael Moore vein of "reporting" for Chris Matthews’s Hardball—made this statement while talking about the Joe Wilson “You lie,” kerfluffle:
MSNBC ANCHOR DAVID SHUSTER: “You look at the image of the Republican Party, all white males with short haircuts. They look sort of angry. No women, no minorities, and it looks like they’ve sort of become unhinged.”I’m not willing to play Shuster’s game and count noses in the GOP, but if you looked at MSNBC’s coverage of Republicans, you would think the party is run by Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman when they think it serves their purposes to highlight those two outspoken women.
The Media Research Center has the full exchange here, including “Republican Consultant Alex Hall” and his pathetically wimpy defense. And we will save the Washington Post’s Dana Milbank’s report that some Democrats sat on the Republican side and taunted GOP members during the President’s speech on health care for another time.
Perhaps the most apropos response to Shuster by the six white males pictured in the screen shot he selected for his comment (or Hall, whose job it was that day) would have been to paraphrase the old Lone Ranger and Tonto joke and retort, “What do you mean ‘we,’ paleface?”
Let’s look at the faces of the MSNBC hosts who have all the prime hours on their network, while femininity and high melanin concentrations (other than Shuster’s sidekick Tamron Hall) are crowded into the ghetto of workday hours.

Anyone who changes the subject from the issue under discussion to the race, enthnicity, gender, age, religion or cultural preferences of those involved in the debate over the issue should be ostracized, blacklisted and boycotted. Such behavior is simply not acceptable.

They do it because they have nothing else. They lose on the issues and they know it. They project their own insecurities and racism on others. I know plenty of these people, who they really are versus the fake “tolerant” image they try to project. They are the ones who are angry and full of hate, and they’re all for giving away other peoples’ money.
