It is almost 11 am Saturday 9-12-09. I have been comparing coverage of the MASSIVE Tea Party march and protest in D.C.
So far, Obama's propaganda organ, MSNBC (TOTALLY in the tank for Obama, and arguably, his "Pravda") is doing a BETTER job of showing the magnitude of the protest than FOX News!!!!!!
How can that be??????
THEY are showing a view from on high which shows the GREAT NUMBERS of protesters, while YOU are only showing tighter, on the ground shots of small groups of protesters and their signs.
PLEASE... GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe they are waiting for primetime?
Or do they ONLY cover left-wing protests in DC, like the Million (not even CLOSE!) Mom March against guns and our gun rights?

I was working in Herndon, Va in 2000.
One weekend I got a call from a friend in Ct telling me there was a riot going on in DC. I turned on the TV and it looked like hell was breaking loose on the mall, so I drove into the capital to see for myself. It was a calm, sunny day with barely anyone around. Just folks reading books and working on their tans.
It turns out the protesters were all in confined to little area where the news folks had the cameras focused to blow the whole thing out of proportion.
I am sure they ordered as many unions and acorn members there as they could...how much in tax dollars is it costing
Well, it's on now and it's looks like they're trying to make this about Beck. Unlike the photo/webcam? that leads this, all I've seen on Fox is a low angle shot from the Lincoln Memorial and a claim that the crowd goes back to the Washington Monument. It's hard to tell, but it doesn't look like that to me. Cspan (I just looked.) has lots of tight shots too. There could be 600 people there of 600,000. I can't tell. And the other stations HAVE NOTHING.

I am recording C-Span because they are providing good uninterrupted coverage of the speeches.
As much as I like Glenn Beck, he is doing too much analyzing and pontificating, and NOT covering all that is going on at the rally itself.
Glenn helped it get going, but now, today - it's THE PEOPLE that should be center stage.
Methinks that the major DC liberal organizations are crapping their collective pants just about now.
Looks like they were actually telling the truth. Lies come back to bite you everytime.
