President Obama on health bill: 'I own it'
President Obama tells Steve Kroft in an interview airing Sunday at 7 p.m. ET on CBS News' "60 Minutes: "I intend to be president for a while and once this bill passes, I own it. ... So I have every incentive to get this right.”
The interview was taped Friday night at the White House, as part of an administration media blitz following his address to a joint session of Congress.
In an excerpt released by "60 Minutes," Obama said: “I have no interest in having a bill get passed that fails. That doesn't work. You know, I intend to be president for a while and once this bill passes, I own it.

Also another example of the 0 lying by omission. Sure, he would own it. But it does not go into effect until 2013 which would be after he would be reelected in 2012 and thus would no longer be accountable to the American people at the polls.

Obama was never good as being part of a TEAM, because he was too busy being part of a group of Chicago Thugs and World Socialist. You see there is No “I” in TEAM.

Exactly, and although he might “own it”, WE are the ones that would have to pay for it.... and WE don’t want the darn thing.

What better proof of his narcissism can there be than that this corrupt, power-hungry liar-in-chief is willing to send the best health care system in the world into an upheaval under the ruse of providing 30 million folk who either don't want or cannot afford insurance for themselves.My contempt knows no bounds, and surely to goodness 70 percent of American citizens feel the same outrage. At the very least, I pray the GOP has grown up and will fight to undo the thug's damage once they gain a majority voice in 2010.
