The spark that has triggered rebellion
The American Thinker ^ | September 12, 2009 | Ellen Sauerbrey

'I'm as Mad as Hell, and I'm Not Gonna Take This Anymore!' This sentiment is being voiced by protesters turning out for Tea Parties and Health Care Town Hall Meetings around the country. People are angry and frightened by the prospect of government running their health care system, but their anger goes far beyond a 1000 page health bill.

Health care reform is merely the spark that has touched off a prairie fire of grassroots rebellion among a people who believe their representatives do not represent them, do not listen to them and do not care what they think. Many Americans feel that they are losing control of their financial well being, their values and their culture. Shell shock set in as they tried to absorb the rapidity of drastic change.

It’s non-stop party in Washington DC. So why the hell would your Senator or Rep listen to you? He much rather hob nob with lobbyists and other people with MONEY!

Congressional staffers get paid outrageous sums and so do many Federal workers. All these skunks got a raise this year even tough the CPI went down (deflation)

“Revolution was effected before the war commenced.
The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people...
This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and
affections of the people was the real American Revolution.”
~John Adams, 1818

I stand by my tagline: “ “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing,” Edmund Burke

You are SERVANTS OF THE PEOPLE, NOT ROYALTY.

Everyone....send emails, faxes, phone calls to help bolster the 912 D.C. rally.

An electronic rally if you will.

Before I went to bed last night, I sent the first line to Pelosi, Rangel, and Reid.

If you try to email there district contact info, they will not allow you to do so.

So go to the House of Representatives website and email “The Speaker of the House”. Then you can get to the witch directly.

Same goes with Reid in the Senate and Rangel.

Go to the Committee chairpersons contact info to email the other slugs.

Post cards. They can ignore the electronic messages and filter them out. A ton of post cards are hard to ignore...

Post cards will not arrive today.

Phone calls, emails, faxes are the best we can do today.

TAKE ACTION NOW - NO MORE SITTING ON THE SIDELINES
The thing we have to do now, without any hesitation, is vote out this current Congress in 2010. Then take back our Nation in 2012. If we do not mobilize ourselves and others now to do this in ways far beyond where most of us have ever engaged in political matters, we will lose this country. And have ourselves to blame.
FRIENDS, WE CAN NO LONGER JUST 'PREACH TO THE CHOIR' -- WE MUST CARRY THIS MESSAGE TO ALL WE KNOW AND ACT NOW. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
