About non-coverage of the Tea Party Express in Connecticut.
(Excerpt) Read more at WTNH.com and http: ...
This is nothing less than Journalistic Malpractice. They call themselves "professionals," but true pros don't ignore significant news they don't like. Hacks do. Propagandists do.
They had time for stories about finding pound dogs homes -- this is a Good Thing. They had time to put in some folks' birthdays. There were stories on 9-11 observances -- which is fitting, proper, and appropriate. And there was time for a drug-bust story. And a few car accidents.
But not one single word about the Tea Party Express as it passed through our small socialist state, on its way to New Jersey this afternoon, and to WASHDC tomorrow.
Not one single word, not one single picture, not one single second of coverage.
So, I guess the Tea Party Express must have failed to pass through Connecticut -- for there surely would have been a report on it if the news was honest.
I checked both TV stations' websites. www.WTNH.com, and www.WFSB.com. Nothing there, either as of 1pm. Go verify this for yourself. I'd like to be wrong about this.
Journalistic fraud is nothing new. Been going down for the last 30 years and this is the biggest reason the old media monopoly is floundering while talk radio, Fox and the internet are winning.
better make sure everyone has a radio
...and an AM radio, at that. Much longer range — particularly at night with a good AM radio. Shortwave has a lot of looney birds on it right now, but might be much more useful if there is a large-scale “cramp” in other communications channels. Being a ham could be useful, too — in many ways.
Unstoppable communications is impossible; but one can get pretty close with quite low-power practical devices.
To be fair, was there not ONE person with a video camera to put this on YouTube or some other video site?
