Those who claim that President Barack Obama's speech on health care this week wasn't a glorious success are fooling themselves. A Washington takeover of health care never sounded so enticing or fun.
Just ignore the specifics. Because when the president says he welcomes substantive new ideas, he means that if you have the nerve to offer any ideas like Whole Foods CEO John Mackey did in the Wall Street Journal last month his allies will attempt to destroy your business and reputation.
And when the president says he welcomes bipartisanship, what he means is that he hasn't met with a single Republican on the issue since April despite numerous requests and two separate House bills chock full of ideas.
When this president says he is a deal-making centrist and will stand up to his own party, he means he will rebuff progressives on a complete strawman like a "single-payer" plan (a plan he supported at one time), which has been a non-starter in any iteration of health care reform this year. I only wish there was a stronger word for "courage."

This alleged president is a petty little punk and liar who wants to play dictator.

Exactly.
IT means the media will cover Obama's meeting with "moderate senate democrats" as if he is "reaching out", and the media will report without comment when the democrat leaders get together and say that the democrats have written democrat bills that are in agreement on "80%" of the issues, as if the goal is to just get enough democratic agreement, and everything will be grand.
I don’t have the time, but I’d like someone to compile all the instances of Obama telling people to shut up. One was, the people who created this mess ought to stop talking, get out of the way and fix the problem. But Obama has had several other times said to stop debating. It would make for a great commercial. BTW, this is un-American to tell people to stop debating. You could add Hillary’s screech on dissent to the ad at the end.
Nice piece of satire. Denver Post? Huh? Just down the road from the Boulder-bergs.
