Tuesday night, MSNBC’s Hustler, Keith Olbermann, announced with a flourish that he would not follow the example of pornographer Larry Flynt and ask his tiny audience to go to work digging up dirt on Glenn Beck. Gee thanks.
Of course, that doesn’t mean he’s not still NBC’s slime dog millionaire. Olbermann was MSNBC’s anchor for the broadcast of President Obama’s healthcare speech last night. (Imagine the screaming we would have heard from the whole mainstream media had Fox News used Glenn Beck or Sean Hannity in the anchor chair on for an Obama speech). Olbermann began the coverage immediately after the Republican response by Louisiana Congressman and heart surgeon, Charles Boustany:
OLBERMANN: Congressman Boustany, we should note, has been sued for malpractice three times. He is a “Birther” who believes there are questions about the President’s citizenship, and, as Rachel [Maddow] reported last night, he is a man recorded in court papers to have fallen for a scam in which he tried to buy the British royalty title of “Lord.” He gave the Republican answer tonight. Governor Jindal’s epic failure after the State of the Union should have reminded all: Never write the rebuttal before you read the speech.
What, no mention of Huey Long? He was from Louisiana too… oh, yeah, he was a Democrat.
Slime number 1: “[Boustany,] we should note, has been sued for malpractice three times….” Hmmm, I bet the next time Charley Rangel is on Countdown, “we” won’t “note” that he’s being investigated for major tax fraud…

In this liberal fantasy world we live in what doctor has been sued at least three times?
My brother is an OB-GYN. He was told in medical school to expect a case to be brought every year or so. So far they haven't been wrong. 'course he's never lost, even to the king of the trial lawyers - Dickie Scruggs.
Funny Olberboy should mention Larry Flynt. Larry ran a kiss-ass article in Hustler about what a great “journalist” Olberboy is.
