Trafficant didn’t come on my radar until he was trying to talk his way out of going to prison.
I really don’t know his background. Hopefully he didn’t come out like Van Jones. Prison, I guess, will offer jailhouse religion or radical Islam or something.
So you see no problem with his obvious antisemitsm and hatred of Israel? Let me guess: you voted for Ron Paul last year and Pat Buchanan in years past.

You know, lots of people here dont realize that this is not your Father’s Israel.
Israel was flooded with crooks when the Russians opened up their prisons who all of a sudden became solemn Jews...until they got to Tel Aviv. Sex slaves, body parts, drugs - this is not what Golda and others had in mind.
Trafficant thinks he was targeted for finding the information that freed Demjanjuk from the noose and he got off a lot better than, for instance, the two Israeli lawyers who were blinded and murdered.
THAT is antisemitism - targeting two Israeli lawyers that saved an innocent man from the noose.

I saw him on Greta, last night. He is no longer lovable. He actually sounded a little nuts, last night. He was extremely anti-Israel and seemed to be trying to ingratiate himself to Obama, saying that Obama seems to be aware of the actions of the Israeli government. Greta seemed embarrassed, but said nothing.
I think it is quite likely.

Hard time is legendary for forging certain antisocial aspects to a personality. Several years spent in close quarters with a sociopathic clique with an axe to grind WILL have an effect on all but the most hardened of NON-criminals (a category to whose ranks I cannot in my most charitable moments in clear conscience ascribe to don Traficante).
Some (read: "MANY") come out as "Nation of Islam" and some come out as "radical communists" and some come out as "Aryan Brotherhood" and some would have us believe they've managed to take the long road through the barnyard without being tainted in the least, even though the air above them flutters with mirage-risers from the ghastly stench that exudes from their pores.
So, while don Traficante may not walk like a duck, he does not appear to be capable of restraining himself from the role of the quack.
I simply asked because I hadn’t heard anywhere else that he was out, that’s all. My son’s a corrections officer so I do know a little about what goes on in prisons.
