Sen. Arlen Specter on Rep. Joe Wilson calling President Obama a liar at last night's address: "But there ought to be some rebuke, reprimand, censure -- something that will discourage that kind of conduct in the future. If you do that to the President, it's open season."

Oh, please. Sit down Senator Spector. While I deplore Rep. Wilson’s outburst, if Senator Spector makes any more of this, we’ll have to pull out all the nasty things he was quite content to endure at the expense of President Bush.
Take a cue from your fellow progressives and move on.

It doesn't warrant a censure BUT Wilson was clearly out of line, IMHO! Yes, Obama's a liar, yup the speech was all spin and, yep, the Dims booed and hooted at Bush (and were out of line too) when he spoke. But there is a saying in the military that you salute the rank, not the person when paying respect and Obama is the president.
Wilson correctly apologized...FLAME AWAY.
