UPS Lobbies Congress for BailoutUnited Parcel Service – the 100-year-old company that operated for decades as a parcel-delivery monopoly – is quietly seeking a Congressional bailout designed to limit competition for overnight deliveries, leaving Americans with a less reliable next-day delivery network for critical goods like medicines and essential inventory.

This is a bailout, plain and simple, and the American people won't stand for it.

More Liberal Globalism and Business Socialism conducted by a failing global corporation.

We already bailed out AIG, the Banks, and others....all the other global failures.

If UPS cannot make it....let them die.

What can brown screw from you?

Interesting story. That link is something of a biased source (though it may be accurate), so I’d be curious to know the details of the “Brown Bailout” proposal.

I LOVE FedEx. To think it’s founder was scoffed at when submitting his business plan for FedEx by his professor!

Time to say goodbye to extortionist unions...who now, thanks to Solis, won’t have to reveal where member dues are being spent [hint: we don’t want you union rubes to know we’re living high on the hog whilst we pay off elected officials!] ...they certainly aren’t funding rank and file union member pensions properly. [Although, unsurprisingly, the pension funds for union executives are fully funded. Surprise, surprise!]
