Like the Rev. Jeremiah Wright before him, green jobs czar Van Jones was dispatched from President Obama's inner circle once the full toxicity of his world view became widely known.
Mr. Jones' departure was far more abrupt than the Rev. Wright's; Mr. Obama's handlers evidently have developed a keener sense of timing. Mr. Jones resigned Sept. 6, the Saturday in the middle of the Labor Day weekend. Many newspapers and television stations were caught flat-footed and didn't even make note of his departure.
There's much for Americans to learn in the rise and fall of Van Jones. First, that Mr. Obama would choose such a man to serve in his inner circle suggests incompetence or worse. Mr. Jones arrived at the White House dragging a disturbing paper (and video) trail that ought to have disqualified him. Instead, he actually was given a title and power, however briefly.
Second, Mr. Jones has in the past expressed sympathy for Marxism and wild conspiracy theories, including 9/11 "truth" scenarios. The obvious question is: Does Mr. Obama actually agree or sympathize with such views, or does he simply not perceive them as sufficiently toxic to warrant rejection of applicants who hold them?
Third, and most troublingly: The lack of precedent for vetting would-be "czars" makes it possible for people with intentions far more sinister than those held by Mr. Jones to worm their way into the highest levels of government.
Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution gives Congress considerable latitude in applying the power of the "Advice and Consent of the Senate" to presidential appointments. Surely it would not be a stretch, as Rep. Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., proposed Wednesday, to place the president's "czars" under this category.

Van Jones was a convicted felon? WTF?? We really do have frakking gangsters in office now.
Van Jones was arrested during the Rodney King rioting as a black nationalist. While in prison, he adotped communism and is now an avowed commie. But Van is not the most eggregious example of commies in the czarista regime of Barry Soetoro. The connections go through Apollo Alliance, ACORN, and all the way into the Tides Foundation. Look for data on ‘Center for American Progress’ (John Podesta), CNN (MArk Lloyd), SEIU (too many to list here), ACORN (the current Pres_ _ent, obviously), and Tides/ACORN (Wade Rathke). If you find links to Valerie Jarrett, let me know because she is the one with the affirmative action fraud-in-chief’s ear.

Curious if anybody can fill the void here. Where does the Executive Division get the funding for these Czars, and who authorizes that funding for them?
Wondering also what is sacrificed, if anything within the Executive in favor of these Czars?
