Okay, Conservatives, we have a Congressman in Washington, Joe Wilson (R-SC) who had the courage to speak up publicly on national TV against the lies spread by Obama. "You lie!" might just become the new "shot heard around the world."
It's not just enough to chuckle and say, "Amen, brother!" This man will likely become the new whipping boy and target of the most vile and evil campaign ever, right up there with the one against Sarah Palin and her family.
This week, put a check in the mail for his campaign fund. We clamor for our representatives to truly represent us, and now this brave man has risked everything to do just that. Put your money where your mouth is, Freepers! Every ten or twenty bucks will speak volumes, especially if we can raise a small fortune. It will instill courage in other Conservatives and maybe even some Blue Dog Democrats to speak truth to power.

I got through to donate but when I submitted got an internal error message. However, I later got a thank you email for my donation so it must have gone through.

I just had the same problem. I have a page marked that lists all the Reps and when I click on Wilson, I get a no-go. Tried it a few times.
The man deserves mailbags full of thank you cards and campaign donations.
Look, you're entitled to support who you want. But yelling out in the middle of a joint session of Congress isn't courage but a boorish break in protocol. It's not as though Wilson has a hard time getting his views out via Fox News or the WSJ or any of our fine conservative magazines and websites. I think yelling out like that at a joint session is just appalling manners for a congressman and childish grandstanding.

Thank God someone had the courage to call him out for his lying. Bravo, Joe Wilson!
But his voting record doesn't impress me enough to give him any financial support.
He has voted in favor of ending debate before the people (or he himself) have had a chance to read some bills.
Further, I doubt this guy could explain where in Article 1 Section 8, the people of his district have given him the power to vote the way he has sometimes. He's been right a lot of the time, but I also see a few problems in a quick look over a some key votes.
If a Congressman can't follow the Constitution, I'm not supporting his re-election.

The entire Republican side should have been yelling at him!
Joe Wilson of SC needs to become Senator Joe Wilson of SC and Miss Lindsay Graham-nesty should go spend time with the merchant marine.
Maybe Wilson knows we lost our country last november or that the fraud up there is an illegal alien usurper born in Kenya.
I think they all know and I think it will come out when his polls numbers get low eneough or the Dems finally realize he will destroy their party and this country.
