Just read the article. Seems Wilson buckled after all and did apologize. He shouldn't have done so. He and McCain should have taken the opportunity to state why Obama was lying to the people. I see no reason to be civil to a liar.

He should have just given the standard liberal style apology:

“I would like to say that I am sorry if my statement offended anyone who misunderstood what was said or anyone who is too stupid or uninformed to know that I am correct and Resident Obama is wrong.”

Did you see the death glare Pelosi shot Congressman Wilson? One can only imagine the retribution planned. Still, I think he’s a hero, and even Brian Williams had to refer to the “liar” comment in his brief summary of the speech. As for McCain, he got his grinning cameo shot, so what does he care? He needs to be primaried out.

Interesting how Sarah Palin gets under 0’s skin. By his undignified slam, he elevated her in stature, AND she made the Teleprompter add in his lame pledge to discuss legal reform at the end of his speech. (Like we think THAT’s ever going to happen). Go Sarah Go!
