He should have just given the standard liberal style apology:
“I would like to say that I am sorry if my statement offended anyone who misunderstood what was said or anyone who is too stupid or uninformed to know that I am correct and Resident Obama is wrong.”
There should have been no apology. If you are right and the powers that be are lying to the American people, why would you back down? A liar is a liar. Point it out, shout it from the roof tops. Why should you be civil to a liar?
