just squinting and waiting for you to post a pic of Pamela Anderson...LOL!

Pamela Anderson? I was thinking a lot more politically incorrect than that!

Not to worry. Posting those sort of pics isn't my thing.

"Tomorrow, ah, Tomorrow things change. I think things change a lot for those in power. The tides are about to turn and that will be on tomorrow's broadcast. Trust me, everybody now says they're going to be talking about healthcare. Mmmm, I don't think so. Tomorrow you will see an exclusive, ah (thinking & grinning), stuff on tomorrow's program. Don't miss it! - GB

Not everyone has read my comments so the example of Lucy and the football fits. As I stated, I hope I'm wrong. I'll eat crow gladly. I don't like to see people get their hopes up only to see them dashed.

On at least two occasions on talk radio Beck announced he had major stories that were to break at the end of the week. When I turned in there were no great revelations and Beck admitted that he exaggerated. This was about 2 years ago. I can't remember the exact story because Beck didn't reveal anything. So I haven't listened for a good while. Anyway I will eat crow gladly Friday if I'm wrong. Out!

The whole “financial crisis” of last fall made politicians of both parties leave closed door meetings with pale faces. The bailout (ransom?) sure happened quickly. I always thought that there was something fishy about the whole thing. If indeed this was a set up deal, the American people will be livid.

I strongly believe that it was a setup deal. I think there is an old FR thread from around February of 2008 that lays out the coming events with a certain degree of accuracy.

A month or so ago I was up in the middle of the night and there was an article from India stating that in the next month a ponzi scheme that would make Madoff look like small change would be revealed.....In the morning it wasn’t here.

The Tides Foundation ... the same group of silver spoon babies who were involved with Teamster President Ron Carey in the cash swap scandal along with various SDS leaders and labor unions

the Tides Foundation

.

these are all ACORN/TIDES related entities it also reads like a who's who of old SDS leaders, Paul Booth, Gerry McEntee (AFSCME), Michael Ansera

I can't find the flow chart which NLPC had done .. it's excellent

Charles Blitz, a CA businessman and liberal campaign fundraiser, pled guilty Aug. 17 in U.S. District Court to lying to a court-appointed election monitor about the money-laundering schemes that ruined Teamsters President Ron Carey. Blitz is the 4th person to plead guilty. Blitz faces 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. He is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 2. No one involved in the scandals has been sentenced to date. [Detroit News & Newsday 8/18/98]

According to court records, the scheme, that Blitz was a part, illegally raised $110,000 and $75,000 for "Teamsters for a Corruption Free Union" from the liberal Citizen Action and Project Vote, respectively. In return, the Teamsters "donated" $475,000 to Citizen Action and $175,000 to Project Vote. An additional $85,000 to the National Council of Senior Citizens garnered $42,500 for Carey. The total, $227,500, covered Carey's direct mail expenses.

Carey’s campaign manager, Jere Nash, met with Martin Davis, co-owner of a direct marketing firm called The November Group. The pair concluded that a direct mail and phone bank effort would cost about $700,000, and that they’d split the difference nearly 50-50. Davis then contacted a Massachusetts-based telemarketing fundraiser, Michael Ansara, to work out a plan. In October, Ansara traveled to California to meet with some 300 donors known for their affinity for liberal causes. One of them was Charles Blitz, a fundraiser for a nationwide public-interest nonprofit coalition, Citizen Action. Ansara and Blitz worked out an agreement: The Carey campaign would donate $475,000 to Citizen Action. In turn, Citizen Action would give Carey’s campaign $110,000, with Ansara serving as the conduit. Davis, for his part, allegedly had worked out a separate secret agreement with AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Richard Trumka: The Teamsters would give $150,000 to the AFL-CIO for get-out-the-vote efforts; the AFL-CIO would funnel the same amount to Citizen Action, who would pay $100,000 to The November Group, who in turn would use the money for direct marketing.

The Int'l Bhd. of Teamsters are close to filing a civil suit under the Racketeer Influenced & Corrupt Organizations Act against disgraced ex-boss Ron Carey for his role in the 1996 money-laundering scandal that ejected him from the union. Other defendants may include the AFL-CIO secretary-treasurer Richard L. Trumka and Democratic Nat'l Committee for their respective roles in the schemes. Trumka is alleged to have steered AFL-CIO funds to the Carey campaign; he took the Fifth when called before federal investigations. Federal prosecutors have alleged the DNC was also funneling money to Carey. The suit will seek to recover about $3 million in union funds spent as a result of Carey's 1996 reelection. "...is that why savage calls him “the hemorrhoid”?"

I heard Savage say that yesterday and I didn't like it.

You know? He's pulled this crap before. I don't remember which national host it was that he got his knickers in a twist about, but he used his show to demean them in public.

I already couldn't take more than a few minutes of the guy, but when I heard him doing that, I turned the channel and haven't been back.

Savage may be on the money when it comes to nailing the left, but he's a fruitcake in a lot of other ways.

>>You think that’s what femininity is?<<

No, but I do look at that picture for what it is, example of skank. The poster didn’t put it up so all of us look at it and say, “Ooooo, I want to be just like her.”

We are talking about a whore and a picture of a whore was put up. I don’t have a problem with it at all.

We as conservative women should look at that and thank Our Lord that we know WHAT that is. The we see people like Barbara Bush and Nancy Reagan as beautiful, because we are not about what is on the outside but rather what is on the inside.

Savage makes a lot of good points, and even though I know that he’s mad that the Fox talkers and Rush don’t defend him, I wish that he wouldn’t use those nicknames. It detracts from his points and makes him look petty. Not that he doesn’t have a right to be angry that he was left hanging except for WND, but it sounds bad.

THAT would certainly leave discussion of health care reform in the dust.

I remember Schmucky Schumer's pale face the most. He looked like he was almost caught and appeared quite shaken at such a close call. The snakes in both Houses are the ones who were bailed out, not America's "regular" citizens.

Very Weird. Must be the whole US Govt will be exposed as a giant ponzi scheme. As if we didn’t already know. ;-)

Don’t be suprised if some big hedge fund blows up.

Some of the stuff written in Indian newspapers is pretty good. Maybe if the AP, Al Reuters, Al BBC, Wa Po(op) and NY Times outsourced journalism to India it might be less biased.

Things are going to change a lot for those in power? My, my, my.....

I'm telling you... Obama has to be connected to this some kind of way for Beck to make that sort of claim.

I just hope he knows that his credibility is now riding on this. If he doesn't deliver the goods, it won't matter what good he's done up to this point. He'll forever be lumped in with Geraldo and Capone's vault.

Remember the talk about short selling and India, Indonesia or SE Asia being involved?...AND then nothing. No comments......Now who do we know that has connections to India, Indonesia or SE Asia?
