The focus should be on the fact that these “CZARS” exist in the first place. What other President had them? None! Throw them all out!

Lyndon Johnson appointed Sargent Shriver as a 'poverty czar' in 1964 (without actually using that title), and Nixon appointed former Colorado Governor John Love (succeeded by Deputy Treasury Secretary William Simon) to be his 'energy czar' in 1973. Gerald Ford selected Frank Zarb for the same role. And the buffoon Jimmy Carter appointed former Defense Secretary James Schlesinger as his 'czar'.

And there were energy and drug 'czars' even in the Reagan Administration.

What should be disturbing is that the term 'czar' is derived from 'Caesar', i.e., the equivalent of a Roman Emperor.

And what do you call the kids of a Czar?

CZARDINES! (groan, lol)

Thanks for the info on Czars from the past. I didn't know about those. BUT NONE OF THOSE FORMER PRESIDENTS HAD 31 CZARS! I will have to do some research about these guys. But, I bet they were not communist, racist bullies! I would guess that they were somehow actually accomplished in the area they were assigned to oversee.

As a matter of fact, Obama ought to call them "Overseers" instead of "Czarz". Definition of Overseer: One who keeps watch over and directs the work of others, especially laborers.

The Czar or Tsar was autocratic head of all the Russias, and subject to no law. The similarly autocratic and despotic ‘Kaiser’ - also comes from Caesar.
