Opinions reporting Chinese dollar holdings as some sort of static position are misguded. The Chinese have, for several months, been moving out of long term US Treasuries and into short term (less than 6 months). Although the overall holdings appear stable, it is clear that they are positioning themselves to get out. They see the inflation coming....

The Chinese are going to dump the dollar. I bet when the hyperinflation comes, people will still call you crazy for buying gold, silver, food, and ammunition while they buy a loaf of bread for $1000 or more.
