At a White House interfaith dinner honoring Ramadan, President Barack Obama said: "The contribution of Muslims to the United States are too long to catalog because Muslims are so interwoven into the fabric of our communities and our country."
No member of the national media took Mr. Obama to task for the historical inaccuracy of his remarks, let alone his pandering to the Islamists in attendance, and no one asked the President to list a few of the contributions of Muslims to American society.
In his efforts to single out a distinguished Islamic American, Mr. Obama pointed to Muhammad Ali, the former boxing champion and draft dodger who declared that he would not "take part in Christian wars or wars of any unbelievers." An apt choice. Ali, the model Muslim, once said: “We don't want to be forced to integrate. Integration is wrong. We don't want to live with the white man; that's all." In relation to inter-racial marriage, the former champ quipped: "No intelligent black man in his right black mind wants white boys and white girls coming to their homes to marry their black sons and daughters." Of course, if a former white heavy weight champ made such statements, he would be castigated as a hate-mongering racist who shopuld be tarred and feathered.

As an American Citizen I say sorry there is no free luch.You make the statement that they made contributions then name names and cite incidences. Its as simple as that. He doesn’t because he can’t.

Its kind of interesting, America has been evolving over the 233 years just like the planet. It has had successes and failures, but, over that time its had one constitution and not had a war. Recently America had a “financial “ crisis originally due to government intervention. Then some marxist grassle thinks we need more government?
Then he thinks he can change things for the better by trying to change everything?
Fact is Grasshole wants to be a ruler, a dictator of a totalitarian state!
I would say America has built what it needs as it has evolved and made a fine product.
His disenchanted people who want to redistribute? Should just fall into the system.. go to school, get a trade, obey the laws, scrimp and save like the rest of the bulk of america ( A place where all foreigners ( who are prepared to do that) want to come to a new and bright future)

You could say Muslims played a huge part in our history, even before we became independent. It was Arab Muslim slave traders who sold blacks to Europeans, who brought them here. So, 0bama’s right, Muslims have had a major impact on our history.
