It was nearly seven months ago that President Obama signed the $787 billion stimulus package to jumpstart the receding economy. But more than 200 days later, only a fraction of the hefty package has been spent and unemployment continues to plague the country.
On this labor day, unemployment stands at 9.7 percent, the highest it has been in 26 years. Nearly 216,000 jobs were lost last month, and in some states, unemployment figures have reached double digits.
The Obama administration says the stimulus money has helped curb layoffs and offered more help to those who are unemployed in the form of extended benefits.
"We've only been actually implementing the stimulus program for the last six months, so it's a two-year program, so we still haven't fully seen the effects of the stimulus plan," Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis said on "Good Morning America." "We are rolling our moneys out. We're also providing incentives for job training opportunities, and also helping to expand the safety net for people who've lost their jobs."

Most Americans are really naive to think that Obama and the Democrats would do anything other than squander the money or use it as political payoffs for the election of Obama.
Note: the stimulus package, like the healthcare package, was already written BEFORE the decision was made to have a stimulus package. That’s right! It was never intended as stiimulus, just political payoffs.
And we are surprised when it isn’t working? Those cowards in the media can’t report the truth if their lives depended on it.

I’d say one of the first problems is their lives don’t depend on it.
The second is, they subscribe to the two sides to every issue doctrine. The truth, and the media side.
They can’t actually spend it because it will trigger inflation. They were hoping for the psychological effect to make everyone feel better.
That’s what The One is for. Utter the magic words from the summit of Mount Olympus, and the little ones will be made secure.
I hope that they get a bellyfull of it.
Each time I seea old person at the counter or gas pumps at the convenience store I frequent, I ask them, “What do you think about your president wanting to kill you?”
I can tell by their response if they voted for obaa or not.
If they votd for him they hang their head and say very low, “I didn’t vote for him.”
If they did not vote for him they say,”The sob is not my President.” or “I didn’t vote for the sob,”

In my county, they are using stimulus money to repave perfectly good roadbeds. I kid you not.
Not necessary. (a) All of the Czars have been collecting unemployment since Woodstock and (b) he will continue working for the White House as a consultant, he will just be out of the public eye.
Its where the only people who have jobs are workers for the state because the state chased away all the private jobs with the help of the bankers.
I think they are spending it. It is going into the state coffers to reemerge as unemployment paychecks and welfare paychecks.

Not surprisingly ABC conveniently neglects to mention a key point: Obama said the stimulus would keep unemployment from rising over 8%.
Its mindnumbing and utterly unbelievable that a great State like Michigan with a treasure trove of abundant natural resources can be brought to its knees by commies in D.C. in cahoots with the commies in the big cities. A minority of small minded, parasites and predators have allowed evil to invade their minds and they are out to destroy the lives of anyone who wants more from life then they deem you are allowed.
Someday soon they will push too far and they know that so they will have to have many major event to sap us of the will to tar and feather the entire lot of his puppetmasters will abandon them or allow then to suffer tremendous loses. I also think they have ulterior methods with swine flu.
Dam I am ranting and could go on forever.
