Subtitle: "Republicans solicited the quick destitution of a functionary who had expressed critical comments against the previous US leader, George Bush."

Apologies for the Babelfish automatic translation on the quick, of (Danny Glover-funded) TeleSUR from Communist Venezuela. If someone else can help, take the ball, and polish up the English translation, why that would be mighty appreciated.

Original Spanish is HERE.

I’m glad the Venezuelans are paying attention to this. They need to take heart from this; we just drove out one of our crazies from office. With a little courage they can start the process rolling.

Their problem is tougher, but its not irreversible if they’ve got the grit to bring him down.

We on the other hand can look at where they are. Chavez is who Obama aspires to be. If we don’t stop him while he’s relatively easy, we’ll have to face him when the cost and pain are much higher for everyone.

“Afghanistan and to become of the great petroleum reserves that exist in that country.”

Wrong country. But, what does that matter.
Bush and oil!

Okay.

Here is the Google Translation:

Van Jones, special advisor on green jobs, enterprise and innovation of the White House, submitted his resignation Sunday of a major scandal product generated when the event aired it would have provided support to an organization that accused the government of former President George W. Bush of involvement in the attacks of Sept. 11.

This adviser of the current president of the United States, Barack Obama, and worked for the Council on Environmental Quality, had to apologize publicly after he was aware of the existence of a recording in which he makes offensive remarks against the group of Republicans.

It was learned that the official document signed on in support of a group of activists linked to the Bush administration with the 11-S, which increased the criticism against him, besides the reaction of Republicans who asked for his recall the position held immediately.

In a statement where he announced his resignation, claimed to be the subject of a campaign of lies and slanders, but he preferred to resign in favor of “the historic reforms in the health and energy.

“On the eve of historic struggles for the health system and clean energy, reform opponents have mounted a vicious campaign of slander against me,” Jones said in his resignation letter.

“I can ask my colleagues who lost their precious time to defend or explain my past. We need all hands available to fight for the future,” Jones entered the White House last March, worked as a human rights activist in California before focusing on environmental and energy issues.

On 11 September 2001, four airliners were hijacked and crashed in different parts of the country, including the World Trade Center complex or so-called “Twin Towers” that killed 2 thousand 973 people.

It’s sad that Chavez’s state-run media gives more factually correct information than our own SRM.
