Former US president Jimmy Carter said Sunday Palestinian leaders were "seriously considering" a one-state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, following a visit to the Middle East.
"A majority of the Palestinian leaders with whom we met are seriously considering acceptance of one state, between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea," Carter wrote in an op-ed piece in The Washington Post.
"By renouncing the dream of an independent Palestine, they would become fellow citizens with their Jewish neighbors and then demand equal rights within a democracy," he explained. "In this non-violent civil rights struggle, their examples would be Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela."

First Amendement rights are fine, but yelling “Fire” in a crowded theater is not protected speech. So should this embarassment’s every word.

Now everyone can see why the Jews were supporting the idea of the Palestinians having their own state. They knew that this solution, of everyone living in the same "one state" was the other method -- which is the "nightmare solution" for the Jews...

Aside from a few academics, there's not much talk of this. It's simply Carter's latest push to destroy Israel.
Everywhere Muslims live with non-Muslims there are major problems. Kosovo, Western Europe, India, Thailand, Malaysia, etc.
Kind of like the “one-state solution” preferred by Germany in 1941.

After all these years, I wonder from time to time, if jimmah was complicit in the attack on the American Embassy in Iran and what he expected to gain from it.

I’d accept one state, and demand equal rights for Jews to pray on the Temple Mount, to live and build anywhere they want, to live without fear of being murdered just because someone in the village nearby gets a hard on and thinks it means Allah wants him to kill somebody, where Jewish soldiers can accidentally stray into Ramallah without getting flayed alive and have their innards eaten raw. It should also be one in which Arabs have to get a building permit and pass fire, plumbing and engineering safety inspection, same as anyone in any municipality anywhere in the world must. In that one state, regions in which Arabs are in the majority would have local autonomy, just like regions in which Jews are in the majority would, and Jews and Arabs could move anywhere they wanted and have the same rights there as they do anywhere, and where everyone has the same rights against the national government, which doesn’t get to play international politics with their lives. In other words, I’d be all for a state of Israel like that, one just like America once was. So tell King Abdullah Hussein to abdicate after telling his subjects they’re about to be annexed.
Eventually the Arabs will greatly outnumber Jews in Israel. Demographics is a hard force to overcome.
Demographics, however, are not really with the Muslims. Jewish immigration and ultra-Orthodox reproduction keeps us in the running, while their birth rate, I read once somewhere, isn’t really all it’s cracked up to be.
It’d also help if a lot of Ashkenazik rabbis got together and permitted polygamy within Israel, not that I’d personally want two mother-in-laws, nor would my wife let me bring some young chick into the house, even if I could afford it or wanted it. But that would be a good option for all them whipper snappers with their snappers always whippin’ around. Go ahead. Make twice the citizens in the same amount of time, and have fun while you’re at it.
Everything I’ve read says that the Arab birthrate is much higher. Where is the Jewish immigration coming from?
