WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Watching Joe Biden on Thursday, it was hard not to feel just a little wistful about what might have been.
Delivering a report on the first 200 days of the administration's recovery act at the Brookings Institution, the vice-president was not only coherent and convincing, he was downright circumspect at times, cautioning himself against going out of his brief and even, at one point, declining to elaborate.
"One thing I've learned," he demurred on health care strategy, "Never step on the boss's lines."
Meanwhile, in Alaska, the former governor and erstwhile national typhoon Sarah Palin was conducting a seminar involving flashcards, cattle prods and other behaviour modification tools in a remedial attempt to drastically improve her eldest daughter's taste in men.
When will Levi Johnston go away? Based on Gosselin's theory of unjustified celebrity momentum, or l = t + p X s (longevity equals talentlessness plus photogenitude times shamelessness), he should be judging his last episode of "Celebrity Colonoscopades" in February, 2023.

Palin would make a good VP.
Don’t these idiot Canadian libtards have enough crap going on in Canada to write about?
You forgot to put a “DOUBLE BARF.. HURL ALERT” on this.
Celebrity Colonoscopades???

No, it’s a way to deflect away from it from what they believe is a universal hatred of Palin. Personally, I think they should be writing about their lovely health care system.
Oh, sure. And leaving the author’s malignant Palin syndrome aside, I seem to remember Drudge’s headline a day or two ago pointing out that Obama was missing in action, that Biden was essentially the Acting President, and that he was claiming credit for it. “I did this, I did that,” and so forth.
Then, no doubt, he became aware of this flub and uttered the bit about not stepping on the president’s lines.
Oh, sure, Joe Biden is a remarkablly dignified and competent leader of the free world . . . . Not.
No, really! I'm not kidding! Biden was talking the other day, and swear to God he actually made sense!
And furthermore O is not worse than Carter! No way is he worse than that guy!
And... hey, look at that guy Levi! Good thing he's not president, eh?
Yes, I would say these people are imploding. Its not over, but its OK to enjoy the moment.
I have to say, its good that Levi has outed himself as the faithless boob that he is.
Otherwise, once Palin arrives in Washington DC he would have been her Billy Carter. As it is, he is the DNC’s Billy Carter.
“Imagine a world with Palin as vice-president”
HELL NO! Vice presidents are simply powerless to do anything without approval from their boss...the President.
Now, with that said, I dream of a world with Palin as PRESIDENT!
I won’t even click to go to the article.
If this is more than just another hit piece on the Good Gov, I might look again.
Nothing to see here, move on . . .
Excellent post! If Palin were president, America would be leading the world...unlike the present administration that apologizes for everything, to everyone!
Thanks... it is the glaring truth.

Then Joe Biden would be the keynote speaker at the CLSA Investors' Forum in Hong Kong this month.
You can bet the farm on that.
Would you believe next month's mortgage payment?
Would you believe this week's grocery money?
How about tonight's beer money?
LOL! As Ann Coulter said, Sarah Palin is, to liberals, like the ex they just can’t seem to get over.
I like that dream!
