There is just too much good news for Conservatives in Connecticut ... it is hard to believe the developments, really.

With RINO’s Simmons, Shays, and Nancy Johnson out of the way, the doors have opened for a new crowd of conservatives to emerge.

Matt Daly for Congress, district #2
Debicella for Congress, district #4
Bernier for Congress, district #5
Caligiuri and Schiff running for Senate.

Word is that Rell is retiring.

It is stunning how the RINO’s really aren’t a problem right now.

Just close to primaries to ensure the conservatives win.

How are RINOs not a problem in CT ? You still have Rell, and Simmons is still the leader for the Senate nomination. Puzzling comment.

Simmons is still the unfortunate front runner for the Senate nomination isn’t he?

Rell appears to be even worse than Arnold SwawrteKennedy which is saying a lot. And she makes Crist look like Carrol Campbell.

I hope she loses to the regular democrat.

I’m sure she’d sign the rats redistricting plan anyway.

I checked those candidates out, and I have to say that I’m quite impressed with Caligiuri, Debicella and Bernier—I think they have a real chance of winning. Schiff I already knew a bit about, and I think he’s more liberal on social issues than Caligiuri, so I’m not inclined to support him. Daly I’m not so sure about—his views are probably fine (from what he revealed), but I don’t think he has the background to run successfully for the U.S. House (maybe he should try again for the state senate first).

If Rell retires, who will run for governor for the GOP?
