Obama plans to systematically “embed positive behavior” into America’s Kids

Back-to-School with Obama:

Some conservatives are under fire for claiming President Barack Obama’s back-to-school address is actually an indoctrination tactic intended to brainwash America’s school children with his political ideology as opposed to the White House’s stance that Obama’s address is a harmless Presidential reach-out to simply encourage kids. Are conservatives correct or going overboard? Let’s let Obama’s education record speak for itself. In 2007, then Senator Obama introduced education legislation which “systematically” “embeds” “positive behavior” into America’s kids to “achieve important social outcomes.”

First, let’s look at Obama’s initial plans for America’s school children scheduled for September 8. According to the Obama White House press release, “As children across America go back to school, President Obama will deliver a national address directly to students on the importance of taking responsibility for their success in school…“In advance of this address, the Department of Education is providing resources developed by and for teachers to help engage students and stimulate discussion about persisting and succeeding in school.”

Next, as we now know, the White House in cahoots with the Board of Education created a lesson plan that included pre-address and post-address school assignments. The students, pre-K through sixth graders, were asked to write answers to questions like “What is the President asking me to do?” Then after listening to President Obama’s speech, the students would be instructed to write letters answering “what they can do to help the president” that teachers would later use in the classroom to “make students accountable to their goals.”

As CFP reported here, the White House has since withdrew their call for students to help Obama, claiming it was an “honest misunderstanding.” The address was meant to be an “inspirational, pro-education” message as opposed to a pro-Obama narcissist exercise.

ay. Indoctrination? Yes, no?

...on September 27, 2007, then Senator Obama introduced the “Positive Behavior for Effective Schools Act” in the Senate.

S.2111, significantly redesigns and amends the Elementary and Secondary Education Act to allow, in part, for “State…local educational agencies, and schools to increase implementation of early intervention services particularly school-wide positive behavior supports.”

One of the very few Senate actions by this African-African, but important to America's conversion to Communism, America-hating Obomba's plans to subjugate Ameican school children in order that they 'convert' their parents to the New Order!

They are called re-education camps.

0bama simply has a newer tool to do this virtually - its called the Internet.

This is necessary, of course, to be able to RE-MAKE America.

Frankfurt School followers infiltrated public and higher education, the N.E.A. and many church denominations during the mid 1900’s. Those folks brought us sensitivity training and consensus building.

Their Marxist-socialist plan was indoctrination of youth over time, leading to an eventual vote that would turn America hard left. That was 11/4/8.

Search on “Frankfurt School”.

A Nation At Risk - April 1983

A Nation At Risk
All, regardless of race or class or economic status, are entitled to a fair chance and to the tools for developing their individual powers of mind and spirit to the utmost. This promise means that all children by virtue of their own efforts, competently guided, can hope to attain the mature and informed judgement needed to secure gainful employment, and to manage their own lives, thereby serving not only their own interests but also the progress of society itself. Our Nation is at risk. Our once unchallenged preeminence in commerce, industry, science, and technological innovation is being overtaken by competitors throughout the world. This report is concerned with only one of the many causes and dimensions of the problem, but it is the one that undergirds American prosperity, security, and civility. We report to the American people that while we can take justifiable pride in what our schools and colleges have historically accomplished and contributed to the United States and the well-being of its people, the educational foundations of our society are presently being eroded by a rising tide of mediocrity that threatens our very future as a Nation and a people. What was unimaginable a generation ago has begun to occur—others are matching and surpassing our educational attainments.

If an unfriendly foreign power had attempted to impose on America the mediocre educational performance that exists today, we might well have viewed it as an act of war. As it stands, we have allowed this to happen to ourselves. We have even squandered the gains in student achievement made in the wake of the Sputnik challenge. Moreover, we have dismantled essential support systems which helped make those gains possible. We have, in effect, been committing an act of unthinking, unilateral educational disarmament.

Our society and its educational institutions seem to have lost sight of the basic purposes of schooling, and of the high expectations and disciplined effort needed to attain them. This report, the result of 18 months of study, seeks to generate reform of our educational system in fundamental ways and to renew the Nation’s commitment to schools and colleges of high quality throughout the length and breadth of our land.

That we have compromised this commitment is, upon reflection, hardly surprising, given the multitude of often conflicting demands we have placed on our Nation’s schools and colleges. They are routinely called on to provide solutions to personal, social, and political problems that the home and other institutions either will not or cannot resolve. We must understand that these demands on our schools and colleges often exact an educational cost as well as a financial one.

On the occasion of the Commission’s first meeting, President Reagan noted the central importance of education in American life when he said: “Certainly there are few areas of American life as important to our society, to our people, and to our families as our schools and colleges.” This report, therefore, is as much an open letter to the American people as it is a report to the Secretary of Education. We are confident that the American people, properly informed, will do what is right for their children and for the generations to come.

Our kid’s school district is attempting to make attendence on the day of 0’s address mandatory.

My wife and I are furious.

I think our kids are going to come down with a mysterious ailment that day...

“Those folks brought us sensitivity training and consensus building.”

Gee... this is exactly what’s been mandated in the workplace for a couple decades now to force political correctness on everyone. And that mindset is what brought America to a new low in November 2008. If it worked on the adults in the workplace, imagine how effective it’ll be on little kids with sponge-like, eager minds.

The point is, it has been effective with U.S. public school children, for four decades. Check out Frankfurt School's links to Columbia U. (gee, who went there?) The F.S. plan came to it's desired outcome 11/4/8.

re: Our kid’s school district is attempting to make attendence on the day of 0’s address mandatory.

Here is an idea to make the school district take your concerns seriously. Find out when your school district has its student count day, which is the day your district wants to have the highest number of students because states allocate funding to school districts based on how many students actually show up for school that day. Locally we have two count days: One for the state & one for the feds. Let the district bureaucrats know that if they insist on making attendance mandatory for Dear Leader’s speech to your children, your children may come down with a mysterious ailment on student count day also.

You’re right, and this whole ploy is SO transparent. The little mushbrained kiddies are quite malleable. Let’s cut through all the fluff—the bottom line is that he wants to inculcate loyalty to HIM above any loyalty to parents. After all, the ultimate goal is for the kids to spy and/or turn in their parents someday.
