My wife is a school teacher and just received word that Obama's recruiting speech to school kids will not be carried by her school. She teaches in a large, very liberal town. The school will, instead, record the harrange "and may or may not show it at a later time." (Heh). It will also be taped and shown by local cabel access at a later date, if anyone cares to watch. The "workbooks and assignments" have also been dumped.
When liberal parents dump Obama he is truly in trouble.

This isn’t a victory. When it was going to be live, people could pull their kids out of school for the day. Now that it will be taped (and shown later, I presume), you’ll never know when (or how many times) you kid will receive his or her indoctrination.
Ok, YOu are definitely right: When Massachusetts won’t carry the speech, Obama is in DEEP TROUBLE. By the way, remember the old joke about taking the @ss out of Massachusetts? I guess the hemorrhoid is finally gone!
Forgot to add, the superintendent also said parental permission will be required before the school shows a kid the tape.
And it probably won’t even occur to the Obama administration that the reason everyone’s dumping this is because he’s already lied to the American people, over and over again.
They’ll blame it on the Republicans, race, stupidity, or some other lame excuse.
I agree with Boortz and others — it’s probably just a “stay in school and work hard” message, but no one trusts him now. And for good reason.

Yeah, right. They’ll say anything to get those kids in school on 9/8 so the school board can collect their federal money for daily attendance. Later, the video will be “accidently” shown and a typically lame liberal apology will follow (”We’re sorry if anyone was offended...”).
Don’t let your guard down. The Left’s primary form of governing is the “Say one thing, do something else” model.

There are a lot of conservatives in Massachusetts contrary to popular belief, sadly most of the congressional districts are gerry mandered to achieve a liberal outcome, that and Boston proper is a magnet for fruit cakes from all over the nation.
Pelosi & Reid are in power due to votes from all over the nation, not just liberal NE.
Are you going to dump your governor, too? That would be a good next move.
Don’t be too sure that they didn’t just put this off for a later time when no one is paying attention.
I’m from a small town in NJ, and have heard from my sister who has kids in the grammar school there that the video will not be shown on Tuesday either. They are planning to let the parents view it first, and then show it in small segments at a later date. This could be just as bad, if not worse. Small doses over a repeated period of time???
Work really hard for the midterm elections everyone.
Maybe parents will just ask their kids to tell them when the tape is shown in class and the frequency. Parents still talk to their kids, don’t they?
Nothing amazing here, folks! The teachers are taping it and it will be shown ( many times) at unannounced times.

This tactic is an end run around the STOOOPID conservative parents who continue to use government schools, and STOOOPID conservatives who have consistently failed to set an alternative private tuition-free system of schools for all the nation's children.
What I usually see is parents talking, kids texting.
Specifics, dude, we want specifics. What town, for instance?
Not to argue, but you have to consider that many parents are single parents and have to work to support the kid(s) and themselves. |
