With each passing day, Iran moves closer to the bomb and closer to initiating war on its terms. The international community will do nothing to preempt this danger. Israel must act. Fighting a war on our terms is eminently preferable to fighting one on Iran's.

The Europeans gave Iran so many deadlines and warnings in 2006 it was laughable — and now Obama is the one running out the clock. Israel should have acted years ago — the longer they wait the worse it will be when they’re forced into action.
Yeah, makes one wonder what their reasoning is. I mean did they really want Hussein to have their back instead of Bush? Hussein as CIC for this up coming war is disconcerting to say the least. I hope our military is prepared to disobey orders or engage without orders.

I don't see what choice Israeli P.M. Netanyahu has but to bomb the Iranian nuke sites before the insane, death-loving Mullas in Iran launch nuclear bombs at his nation.
President Obama has made it clear that his administration won't support Israel and most of the world agrees with that as they don't support Israel, either. American Jews don't seem to care much what happens to Israel, as long as they can keep voting for liberal Democrats in America. U.N. 'sanctions' against Iran are a sad joke that everyone involved realizes are simply a fig leaf for doing absolutely nothing while waiting for 2 million Israel citizens to be annihilated by Iranian nukes. No one is fooled by this lame temporizing, least of all P.M. Netanyahu.
So, Israel stands alone, surrounded by over 20 million hostile Muslims itching to eradicate Israel from the face of the earth. Meanwhile, Iran, run by 'religious' Muslim extremists with a sock-puppet president (Ahmadinejad) who has repeatedly vowed the 'destruction' of Israel, is coming dangerously close to fully developing nuclear weapons and already has demonstrated the capacity to deliver them to nearby Israel and as far away as Europe.
Israel, thanks to the continuing support of numerous U.S. presidential administrations, has it's own stockpile of nuclear weapons and delivery systems ready to go. Thus, the choice for Israel is national suicide (doing nothing) or risking an all-out nuclear exchange with it's numerous, nuclear-armed neighbors - who have always hated the presence of Israel in 'Arabia'. If you're Benjamin Netanyahuthe (the Prime Minister of Israel) what would you do?
Considering the fact that Israel's national motto is 'Never Again' I would guess that Bibi will chose to strike first and risk annihilation rather than guarantee it by meekly waiting for Iranian nukes to fall on his country while the Iranian mullas laugh and Muslims worldwide dance in the streets as Israel disintegrates. I would agree with that decision.
The real problem will be if Israel miscalculates and they think they have more time than they really do. Iran may already have nuclear weapons with all the time they’ve already been given.

Thank you for your candid recommendation. I can appreciate that kind of suggestion as to what Israel should do. The Muslims (nations as well as terrorist regimes) will keep pushing and pushing until someone says “enough!” and pushes back with enough ferocity that their point will be unmistakable. Turning Tehran to glass might be a bit much, but something massive is what’s needed to get the line drawn in the sand and ensure that no one crosses it.
You can be certain of one thing:
IF the day dawns that an Iranian nuke detonates over Tel Aviv, killing countless Israelis, the reaction from each and every Islamic nation will be one of celebration.
Islam is, at it’s core, incompatible and unable to co-exist with Israel, which is why the majority of Islamic nations refuse to recognize Israel. To recognize the right of Israel to exist would fly in the face of what is taught in the Koran. For that reason alone, Israel must NEVER let it’s guard down, and I am reasonably confident that with Bibi Netanyahu in the Prime Minister’s office, that will not happen. He knows the threat and fully understands what is at stake, i.e., the very survival of the Jewish Nation.
If Nazi Germany and/or Imperial Japan had acquired the atomic bomb first, we can be virtually certain that they would have used that weapon on the allies because the name of the game was to win the war, by any means necessary.
Iran is of the same nihilistic mindset as was Nazi Germany and you can bet your last dollar that if they have one or even two operational nukes that can be launched against Israel, they will use them. To acquire them and NOT use them would be anathema to their entire culture.
Israel unfortunately (IMHO) must use the nuclear option first, for if they attack Iran with conventional weapons, they surely invite nuclear retaliation from Iran which would then appear to be ‘defending’ themselves from a nuclear armed Israel. The only way to avoid such a retaliation from Iran is to nuke the living Hell out of them first and I will amend my previous suggestion, not only should they nuke Tehran, they should definitely nuke Iran’s nuclear research infrastructure, and they should nuke the city of Tabriz, which as the Assahollah’s hometown, would be a most symbolic way of applying the smackdown to those Islamofascist pricks.
