Once again, one of the masters of the universe trotted out on MSNBC has discovered the cure to one of society's ills - more Obama.
Daily Voice editor and CNBC contributor Keith Boykin waved off the reservations of some parents about President Barack Obama addressing their children in the classroom. Boykin appeared on MSNBC on Sept. 3 in a segment about the classroom controversy and added his insightful commentary on the matter.
"So much of the debate about President Obama has been politicized in an effort by some to delegitimize his presidency," Boykin said. "This is clearly much ado about nothing. We're talking about the President of the United States speaking to school kids. Why wouldn't schools want this to happen? That's why our kids are so dumb today, because they don't want to have basic common sense in the classroom."

Oh boy. We lost basic common sense a long time ago. When the state want to give our children condoms, tells us it’s ok for katy to have two dads or moms, and goes further to tell us that we have no right to know if and when they take our little girls to get an abortion.
It’s unusual to hear a leftwinger concerned about basic common sense.

The purpose of this speech at first, as can be easily gleaned from the lesson plan submitted to follow along after the speech was given was to politicize our children.
Now that light has been shone on these cockroaches, they are scattering saying that the lesson plan has been dropped and Obama only ever wanted to tell students to stay in school and to stay away from drugs, etc.
Conservatives and moderates have decided that they don’t trust Obama even with this small task after he totally blew his trust on the economy, healthcare and cap and trade to name a few.
This hasn’t stopped the far-left chattering class from the usual accusations that we are a bunch of uneducated Paranoid Racist Nazi rubes, etc...
The pattern is predictable. They push on a front, we push back, then they demonize us for that. What’s different this time, though is that the sheeple are finally catching on to this nonsense.

Perhaps idiot-savant was an incorrect term to use. The correct term escapes me at the moment.
Unfortunately we'll probably look like whack jobs because Obama and gang will restrain themselves after all the heat they've taken. He's even had to retract the "how would you help Obama" assignment and will prerelease his speech for public review. On Wednesday they'll pat themselves on the back for being so even handed while all drafts of the originally planned speech will go into the shredder.
