I suspect I've read, and grasped, a bit more than you credit me with having read and grasped, Radix.

Please point out the Biblical context, in which Adam's Creation was stretched out hundreds of millions of years, as is necessary, in order to fit evolution into Biblical Creation.

Seriously. I'm very interested in seeing you do so.

The day of Adam began with Adam, and the genealogy that is recorded is where the 6000/7000 year nonsense comes into effect.

The Bible does not IMO support a 7000 year cycle for all of Creation. The day of man is of course a 7000 year cycle, but all of Creation is not.

I cannot understand why any rational thinking persons could ever defend the idea that all of Creation is 7000 years old or less.

It is not supported by the text.
