You must be more tired than I am.
Let's look at Keller on their front page. Her grade school textbooks apparently don't teach ID or creationism. She calls those other "interpretive frameworks."
You mean every liberal secular humanist respectable scientist.
There goes the creationist tendency for personal insults again.
I am not sure how you can define someone who is a seeker who can be a hypocrite. What is there to be a hypocrite about except the seeking? Anyway, any person here who might be a candidate for hypocrisy in seeking, belongs to the null set.
Harsh words for sinners? This is what Jesus said to some.
Jhn 8:44 Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Sorry I don't understand your question, I was not quoting the Bible when I said that..do you have a conprehension problem.
I was making a statement...don't you know the difference? anyway, God Bless you and yours...
Yes, I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior. Thank God he sent His Son so we don’t have to achieve perfection to be forgiven. How about you, have you confessed your sins and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?
Nor does God require us to be perfect before being able to do test the spirits or determine whether another's actions line up with Scripture or not.
And sorry, having someone claim that a Christian is unchristlike because that person took offense at something, is not Scriptural. The criteria is whether the actions, thoughts, or words fall in line with the Bible, not whether some nonChristian likes them or not.
You are missing the point. Newton didn't look for a miracle from God to explain what he couldn't. He left it up to later scientists to find a naturalistic explanation, and they did.
Newton believed that you could learn more about God through the study of His creation through the scientific method.
He believed God created the nature and it was up to us to discover it. That attitude has absolutely no conflict with the naturalist view that creationists hate. Whether it all happened naturally or God set everything in motion, it will all look the same to us, and we will come up with exactly the same results. This is because, as I said before, God is outside of the system we are investigating, just as the CEO of the lab is outside of that mouse's box.
Miracles happen, prayer gets answered.
That's great if the belief helps you. On the other hand, crazy and highly unlikely stuff happens, and it often gets interpreted as intervention. It's the old George Carlin skit, players always thank God when they win the game, but you never hear "Jesus made me fumble at the line of scrimmage." God put that pilot on the Hudson plane to save everybody, but nobody thinks he purposely put a crappy pilot on that other plane that crashed a couple weeks later.
Me, I hoped to finally have a boy, and I did. Had I been religious I would have seen this as a prayer being answered. I think I just got lucky. Or maybe the Invisible Pink Unicorn (PBUHH) touched me with Her horn and granted me a boy.
Hundred of posts on the age of the earth, its like only an opinion, not found in the Bible. How many angels can dance on the head of a pin? same type of debate..
It neither teaches or enlightens anyone and is quite boring, with more name calling than over at DU sorry, I can only wish Gods blessings on you and your family..

[[Nor does God require us to be perfect before being able to do test the spirits or determine whether another’s actions line up with Scripture or not.]]
Exactly, ‘having one’s house in order’ is not referrign to perfection, it is referrign to having Christ inhabit the heart so that the lies of this world can be recognized- the hypocrites and pharisees and scribes did NOT have Christ in their hearts, and their houses were NOT in order, but htey still took it upon themselves to parade themselves aroudn as though their whole vessel were clean when it was obvious to anyone whos house really was in order that their vessel was NOT clean.
[[And sorry, having someone claim that a Christian is unchristlike because that person took offense at something, is not Scriptural.]]
It’s a common practice of people that are ‘religious’ but who are not TRUE Christians-
[[The criteria is whether the actions, thoughts, or words fall in line with the Bible, not whether some nonChristian likes them or not.]]
Exactly! Couldn’t have said it better- and some poeple claim to be Christians, but their actions, thoughts, and words are certainly anti-biblical, even goign so far as to thgrow out huge chunks of God’s word in order to mesh with their warped itnerpretations of God’s word- this isn’t so hard to see- or judge- but apparently, some think it’sd beyond our ability and responsibility to do so- which is again, an unbiblical position to take- but hten again, being unbiblical is par for hte course with htose who liek to show off the outside of hte cup while pretendign their inside is invisible- it’s not- it’;s clear for anyone whos house is in order to see
That gives you away.
My God are you one arrogant psudo christian...Or you would never ask such a question...The state of my heart and soul are none of your business...jerk you are not my savior so bug off..
Are you Jesus? or just a poor imitation of Him?
But then this has been explained to you many times; you just choose to ignore it.
And it has been debunked as many times as you've parroted it...liberals hhijack science. It's what they do.
Like any and everything else they touch.
It's not the point of what science does or doesn't do...the point is the NEA and other godless liberal loons have hijacked it.
And a normal conservative Christian sees this for what it is, let alone understands this concept.
I can appreciate the work that went into this post, but do you really think anyone is going to read it?
Do you really understand what the term *Christian* means?

I read it all...years ago actually. The post was simply copy/pasted. Anyone can do that.
And you goat granny? Which are you?
A book written by people a few thousand years ago who thought the Sun revolved around the Earth doesn't hold up well against even the most basic scientific scrutiny. I've seen the massive logical gymnastics required to prop it up.
Of course we're not doing much better these days, when about 1 in 5 adults still thinks that's true. That could explain the growing popularity of creationism and ID.
