For Eric Holder the law never applies to Democrats.
He whitewashed Gore, now Richardson.
In September of 1997 the Clinton Department of Justice was stuck with a complaint of federal campaign finance law violations by Vice President Al Gore. Except for the allegations against Richard Nixon, Americans had not seen such a high reaching and potentially explosive criminal inquiry.
AG Janet Reno ordered her best cleaner to get to work. She handed it off to Eric Holder.
Al Gore was charged with violating federal laws against soliciting campaign finance donations from his office. The allegations were based on clear black and white law with no wiggle room.
With no real defense Gore brazenly insisted there was no controlling legal authority that made his actions illegal. In affect Gore denied the law existed. Holder cleaned up that pile of dung by making believe he agreed with Gore and dropped the investigation.
Cleaning up for Bill Richardson
Last week Eric Holder got out his mop and pail again and went to work. This time he had to clean up former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardsons pay-to-play scandal. Again the evidence was damning and copious.
Holder knew what had to be done: he dropped the case. The AP quoted an anonymous source as saying Its over. Theres nothing. It was killed in Washington.
Richardson: guilty of getting caught
Gore pulled his stunt while the Democrats ran the DoJ. Richardson tired to line his pockets under the noses of a GOP Justice Department so he got caught. Richardson had to be the most relieved man in America over Obamas election last fall.
He didnt know who the new AG would be, but he knew it would be party time for the next four years and there would be no controlling legal authority for Democrats.

No shame. But Holder has lots of white voters he can target.
Gore should have gone to jail for this. Here’s hoping Holder steps in it, again.

Two words for his defense.
Ice tea.
Ah yes. (For those who don’t remember) The sequentially numbered cashiers checks from the Lippo Bank donated by Buddhist Nuns to algore’s campaign.
Sandy Berger comes to mind.
