Our leader has committed us to “no victory” so anything goes. In other words, our troops are screwed..I hoped I’d never see this again.

Update
NATO-led forces said on Friday they had carried out an air strike in a northern Afghan province where officials said a big fuel-tanker blast may have killed scores of people.

Asked about reports the blast may have been caused by NATO forces firing on fuel tankers, Captain Jon Stock, press officer for U.S. and NATO-led troops in Afghanistan, said: “I can confirm that there was an air strike last night or early this morning.”

He confirmed that the strike took place in Kunduz province where the blast was reported, but gave no further details.

This happened to my team last month in Farah province. We came across a civilian fuel truck convoy that had been attacked. We told the drivers to get back in the trucks and we would escort them to the city. Two miles later, the RPGs started flying and every truck was eventually destroyed. The fires were amazing.

We did kill an estimated 17 of the Taliban that staged the attack, though. :)

Afghanistan 1 with CIA after 9/11 and Iraq with Bush and Petreaus were wonderful. I am having a hard time with Obama and Afghanistan. I support our troops what is best for them?
