black woman is suing the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, saying she was abruptly fired after complaining that the organization was not reaching out to black churches.
A spokesman for the organization didn't comment on the firing, but said the association does extensive outreach and works extensively with black congregations and other diverse churches.
Kimberly McCallum said in the lawsuit that was moved into a federal court on Wednesday that she was the only black employee working in the executive offices in Charlotte when she started in February 2007. She complained to her superiors later that year when she was asked to recruit congregations to a camp program but found that a list of 635 prospective churches had only three memberships that were primarily black.
McCallum said it was apparent that black churches were excluded.

If she was the ONLY one fired around that time as the company downsized, then she may have a case. If others went bye bye as well, she has no case.
Of course some stupid Federal Judge could rule otherwise just because she happens to be black IMO, but if there was a bunch of others let go, then to service her complaint beyond a dismissal would be the courts making it a race issue out of thin air.
I’m sick to death of these whiners and their transparent tactics.

Every truly Christian church I’ve ever attended has a congregation of mixed races.
When culture and comfort become more important than the Great Commission.
It was just recently that I learned that Billy Graham is a registered Democrat. He didn’t show any partiality of presidents during his prime.
This lawsuit just makes me wonder why anyone would hire a black knowing that you suffer repercussions if you have to fire him/her. They hurt their own cause sometimes with these kinds of actions.
We need more facts in this case.

Doesn't this black woman know that ISLAM is for the “people of color”. If a black person rejects Christianity, there isn't much anyone can do about that. Christianity is inclusive however the teachings are exclusive. Leave it to a black "Christian" to call other Christians racists. I wonder ... does she see the Judeo Christian God as a "racist" too? Or does she accept the Christian tennent, that an individual, regardless of color, can accept or reject Him? Why didn't SHE do more if she sees the Billy Graham organization as "racist"? Why wait till you are fired?
Get ready. With communists in power, you have not seen anything yet! Race baiting and demands for reverse discrimination and “out of court settlements” will become the major social theme of the nation for the next three years.
