In America, school security guards don't get to revise the First Amendment to suit their whims. Nobody does.

But that's exactly what happened at a Reston town-hall meeting sponsored by Alexandria Democratic Rep. James P. Moran last week. Fairfax County Public School Security Officer Wesley Cheeks Jr. took it upon himself to decide that one sign -- among a panoply found outside the event -- crossed the line.

I watched the video some time ago and he did not say “It ain’t America no more”

He said in response to “This used to be America” with > “It Ain’t No Mow!”

We often don't need the Constitution when things are all lollipops and roses. We need the Constitution for when the wheels come off...kind of like now. That is when the government is the biggest risk to the public...and, of course, the Constitution's purpose is to protect the public from government.

The idea that exceptional times require a suspension of constitutional rights is often bandied about by the Left but it is precisely those times when it is most necessary. The fact that this guy thought he could do what he did is pretty scary.

I am often reminded of the gun confiscations in New Orleans after Katrina. When things went Mad Max, the 2nd Amendment didn't mean a damn thing.

Without the 2nd Amendment, the rest mean nothing.

I watched it. That was one stupid a$#, surly ‘cop’. Of course there can be no comic or insulting images of ‘O’- the Liberal sacred cow. But it’s OK to be as base and disgusting about any Conservative official you want. What else is new?

Obama will reward Cheeks by making him an Oberführer in the new National Civilian Security Force, a.k.a., the Black Panthers.

That really was amazing to watch. The cop was way out of his league. For starters, schools have different rules for students. When adult events are held there, the normal constitution applies.
