MERCEDES - Police are searching for the men responsible for a home invasion near Mercedes on Monday night.
The homeowner says the men stormed the house claiming to be from the FBI, then beat him with their guns.
He says they demanded money and drugs, when he told them he didn't have what they wanted, they stole his a car and sped off.
He says the part that scares him the most, is that his wife and baby were home at the time of the attack. He's now planning to move to get them out of a dangerous situation.

It’s just getting hard to tell, from reading the details of these “home invasions”, whether it’s the real FBI or just copy-cat criminals.
It sounds like this guy got better treatment than he would have from a real FBI home invasion. People will have to start shooting first and sorting out identities later. Thugs can imitate police to get into homes without being shot, and the shame of it is that this wouldn’t be the case if Police weren’t imitating thugs by breaking into homes.
Ping!

Well, yeah. That's the point. In a country where para-military units run around regularly kicking in doors with the full force of the law, homeowners have to think twice about defending themselves and their loved ones. Which creates just the hesitation criminals need.
That ain’t good.
Might not be long till we have a rash those groups kicking in doors here.
They’re still checking for an ICE hold on this one:
A previous jail photo, from a charge five years ago, of Lucinda Cardoza-Hernandez - a Beaverton babysitter who police said took off with her two charges and was found driving around town 11 hours after the parents returned home. Hernandez has not been processed yet on the new charges.[snip]
