Here's the latest from AP: Finger bitten off during California health protest

Summarizing: Ventura County sheriff's Capt. Frank O'Hanlon said there were about 100 Pro-reform demonstrators vs. 25 anti-reform demonstrators. The Pro reform dude crossed the street and confronted the anti-reform demonstrators. The Sheriff said the pro-reform got into a fist fight then bit the end of the 65 year old man's pinky finge. "A hospital spokeswoman says the top joint of the man's pinky was bitten off, including the entire fingernail. It was not reattached."

Sounds like the pro-reform dude started a fight with the older man, bit the end of his finger off, then fled. The sheriff is looking for him. I don't think the older man started anything. Besides, if the 65 year old man was throwing a punch, his fist would be balled. Kind of hard to get your finger bitten like that.

And......who the heck bites off someone's finger in a fight? That is creepy, sicko behavior
