THOUSAND OAKS -- A 65 year old man had his finger bitten off Wednesday evening at a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff's investigators were called to Hillcrest and Lynn Road at 7:26 p.m.
About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform. A group of anti-health care reform protesters formed across the street.
When someone from the pro-reform side crossed over to the anti-reform side, a fist fight ensued, which resulted in the man's pinky finger getting bitten off.
It's believed the man was on the anti-health care reform side.
He took his finger and walked to Los Robles hospital for treatment.
Police don't know who bit the man's finger off, but they're investigating the incident.
More media bias. We are in favor o heathcare reform, just not Obamacare and a government takeover.
The left is holding classes for their paid goons, probably taught this.

Here's a weird little piece of late-breaking news about the nation's ongoing healthcare reform debate:
A 65-year-old man at a Wednesday night California rally supporting President Obama's embattled reform ideas had a finger bitten off during a scuffle with anti-reform protesters.
The Los Angeles Time blog post you referenced has a link to an eyewitness account that says exactly the opposite. The LAT reporting is useless.
They tried to do this at a rally I attended - the pro-reform thugs (in their matching T-shirts and signs) were across the street from us, and some of them came over to our group & started yelling things at us (cuss words and flipping the finger). It spread through our crowd that they were trying to agitate us into doing something, so we all stayed away from them and basically ignored them. They went back across the street & not too long afterward, most of them left.
This is their game plan, to set us up to look like a violent group, so that “something will have to be done”.
USA TODAY JUST put out a report 3-4 minutes ago.
It is vague. It does not make it clear.

The man in the orange shirt hit the pro-reform guy (I’m going to call him PR Guy just to keep the players straight). Hard. ( tweeted in real time) He punched him in the face, knocked him to the ground and into that thruway. As you can see from the photo, cars drive straight through that without stopping. The pro-reform guy could have been run over. He got up, tried to get back up on the curb, but Orange Shirt guy was in his face. Finger in his face, PR Guy standing, steps up to the curb, and there’s a scuffle. Orange shirt seemed to have PR Guy in a hold, but again, I was across the street, so won’t state that as absolute fact. Next thing I see is PR Guy’s hat being tossed into the street, both yelling at one another, then Orange shirt walks away, PR Guy picks up hat and crosses to our side.When he gets to our side, he tells a story in one sentence: “He punched me hard, straight in the face, so I bit his finger off.”
And I thought these clowns didn’t eat meat.
They had to eventually abandon their flat out lie. But it still served its purpose by confusing other early reports that depended on the LAT as a source.
In today's streetfight they'll get you killed. No neutral corner after a knockdown; attack util the threat no longer exists.

God.. Im positive I would have punched this guy in the head until I was either tired or someone stopped me.
Yeah it looks like all the papers that were reporting falsely...will have to revert to the proObamaCare guy biting the antiObamaCare guys pinkie off. BUT he deserved it because he threw the first punch...

The Obama thugs outnumbered the victim's group 200 to 9. The assailant ran back to his fellow brown shirts after the assault.

It seems to me like more of a chimpanzee thing to do as chimps like to bite off fingers in displays of aggression in nature.
