Why are you even ALLOWED to buy big screen TVs? They waste more energy than anything, and use tons more energy than the regular TVs.
Instead, we are forced to use light bulbs which don’t properly light for the children and elderly, and are hazardous materials. But THAT isn’t ever noted by the media.

You know, I have been telling my friends for a year now the same exact advice. Spend all of it now! There will be no investing, there will be no “nest egg”. The Communists will take everything you have saved either through taxation or confiscation. Your kids are on their own. Spend it all now, or it will be taken from you. I am sure of this.
Funny you should mention that. I have on order a new Panasonic AE3000U projector ($2500 - less than many plasma TVs) that should arrive tomorrow. We've been very frugal since this whole financial melt-down and bought nothing, but it's time to enjoy our lives before the shooting starts.

What I can’t figure out is why the liberal elite-mega wealthy-would want to go communist? Are they so sure they can keep their money? Would Soros and Oprah not lose their wealth? I know there are rich communists- the ruling class -is that what they are setting up? I’m living below the poverty line now, so I have less to lose, but holy guacamole, the Resident and his Reverend would want to immediate reparations.
