Levi Johnston should have thought twice before he spilled the beans on Sarah Palin in this month’s Vanity Fair magazine. In an article called ‘Me and Mrs. Palin’, the 19-year-old father of Tripp ‘turns a number of commonly held beliefs about the former governor – the purportedly loving mother, devoted wife, and prolific hunter – upside down’.
Hang on a minute: this is the grandmother of his son. Whatever you make of the Republican politician, she doesn’t come off worse in this lazy, base ‘exposé’ - Johnston does. And how is he going to explain this interview to his son one day?
Is the interview salacious? Well, judging by the morsels we’ve been given before the magazine hits our shelves, it’s desperately weak.
These include the revelation that, after campaigning with John McCain, ‘Sarah was sad for a while. She walked around the house pouting’. Ok, Levi, you’re really hooking my attention here.
Then we learn that Sarah and Todd don’t cook, the ‘kids would do it all themselves’. And apparently Bristol ‘would help her youngest sister with her homework’. Well, blow me down.
Johnston’s naiveté is symptomatic of the flash-fame he endured last year when he was launched into the media spotlight as part of the Palin campaign. His MySpace page, where he offered the charming warning ‘ya —- with me I’ll kick your ass’ and said he ‘didn’t want kids’, was the subject of great ridicule. But it’s no excuse for his foolish move.

Funny how respected the opinions of fools suddenly becomes when the can be used for the moment by the Left in the perpetual propaganda machine.
Who doubts that after his usefulness has passed this kid never amounts to a hill of beans life.
This is his big score--and as with any common whore, not even those who are using him will respect him afterward.

Todd Palin should have stuck that guy’s head in the toilet when he could get his hands on him.
I sent VF a letter telling them I used to read the magazine cover to cover and now I won’t even tough their “filty rag”.
Not that they care but it made me feel better.

Yes and YES.
I am proud of the Palins for not marrying into this nut’s world. The great lesson that every child needs to learn (but probably never will) is the horror their parents, family may go through when they hook up with some fool like ‘Levi’. You never marry one person, you marry the entire family. One little act of selfishness can change SO much of everyone’s life....and we have ALL done that at one time or another. I think Krystal has learned her lesson the hard way. Levi hasn’t learned a thing, except to be more irresponsible and prove he can be bought off.
It takes a bag to carry the scum. Levi is the scum; Vanity Fair is the scumbag.
