President Obama will address a joint session of Congress on Sept 9.
This comes as the White House has been signaling publicly that they are ready to take charge of the health care debate.
So, this settles the 5th of the 5 health care strategy questions I laid out earlier on this blog today. The other 4 remain.

I predict his approval rating will be at least one point lower, on 9/11. And at least another point, probably two, on 9/18.
OR... he could make the speech and as you say turn more people against him.

They should wear duct tape over their mouths signifing how they have been shut out of any debate on healthcare and make it known going in what is up. They can carry it in their pockets and do it after sitting down so as not to draw attention but still be seen on TV.
Therefore, the money must be taken from those that can afford it (so they can't afford it anymore) and used to pay for those that can't afford it.

Anyone has been finding out how empty the suit really is, a fact that almost 50 percent of voters last November knew for a fact. Andy - in A Face in the Crowd - ended everything with an open mike event - Obama just being ‘transparent’ e.g. lying about what’s in the reform bill - America’s picked that up.
It will be a real hat trick if he can change minds just by giving a speech, he seems to have limited options given what the left wants and that the right doesn’t want anything.

Yes he did, apparently. I stand corrected. I was stationed overseas then - must have missed it. I was also surprised to learn that Carter spoke to a JSC about the energy "crisis", which I do remember thinking back on it. And I understand that that Kennedy gave one on the space program - as a young child at the time - I must have been otherwise engaged - exactly how I'll be for Obama's turn at it.
As a Stargate fan, I think you’d be nuts to skip out on that for Obama’s joint address.
If anyone makes a mistake and watches the latest lies pouring out of the mouth of “Mack Daddy the Zebra” see if there is anytime during the lie fest that he looks directly at the camera or if his eyes are always looking somewhere else.

I like this idea...they are totally and completely disregarding, insulting and cajoling this nation. Time we paid them back in kind by disrespecting the normally respectful office of the POTUS, and skipped this junior high pep rally.
