Afghan U.S. Embassy patrol in 'deviant' parties with booze, hookers - report

Secretary of State Clinton ordered an investigation on Tuesday into the Animal House revels of private guards at the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan - including booze, hookers and other "deviant behavior."

"These are very serious allegations, and we are treating them that way," State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said of photo and e-mail evidence of the "climate of fear and coercion" at the living quarters of ArmorGroup guards.

The investigation by the State Department's inspector general follows a shocking report to Clinton by the nonprofit Project on Government Oversight detailing a "Lord of the Flies environment" at the Camp Sullivan compound a few miles from the embassy in Kabul. Prostitutes allegedly were brought in for birthday parties, drunken guards engaged in brawls and boozy lawn parties turned into naked affairs where guests urinated on one another, according to photos and videos obtained by the nonprofit group.

Clinton has "zero tolerance" for the behavior described and has directed a "review of the whole system" for farming out security to private contractors that may have threatened the safety of embassy personnel, Kelly said.

So we've got a woman who was virulently against Vietnam now now in charge of handling diplomacy during our war in Afganistan. And from her top position she again is working against our soldiers.

Beautiful.

Not unusual for a theater of war where people die daily.

These guys are not military, and if they break no Afghani law, all Clintin has is a contract for performance. And this looks like ots outside the daily duty contracted.

She should have the US Marines in to do the job, if she wants clean men who are prevented from such conduct during their private time.

Opps I forgot. State doesn’t get along with our military!

A liberal President doesn’t count. But every swipe against our military must be made.

Didn’t they say this kind of stuff was private and waste of money to investigate. I am confused and also this is a private security firm not our military.

Or at least use proper "Operational Security" to ensure that no vids/pics ever appear of such activities.

Take about hypocrisy! The last person in the world to be concerned about inappropriate behavior is Hillary. She is married to the only elected POTUS to be impeached for his behavior.

This is really going to piss off the taliban and the mullahs.
I’m curious as to where they imported the hookers from.

True, it's private.

But this is a way to swipe at our war efforts there which degrades the image of the military.

Clinton will NEVER burnish the military's and/or war effort image. Only slash at it in even under-handed ways like this.

Sounds like 3 ID, 1974-1978. The best part was that they other side of the border was worse than we were.

Despite concerns and known deficiencies with ArmorGroup's security, Obama's State Dept. approved a contract renewal with them in June.

ArmorGroup Will Still Protect U.S. Embassy in Kabul
