New York State is abuzz with speculation that former New York City Mayor and presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani will run for governor there in 2010.
But the "general consensus" among Republicans around the state is that Rudy won't enter the race, New York magazine reports. The chief reason: He has his eye on the White House in 2012.

I’d sure rather have Rudy as POTUS than the Kenyan Usurper.

He ruined his chances permanently by trying to win the Presidential primary by campaigning in ONE single state!

I like Giuliani. He was a great mayor. New York should draft him for mayor again.

Rudy? Didn’t he end up with less delegates than Duncan Hunter by the time he pulled out of the race?

He should stick to NY. Governor or US Senator.

Can we please not let the New York Times pick our candidate this time around?
NO MORE RINO’S!
That means:
NO TO ROMNEY
NO TO RUDY
NO TO HUCKSTER (supports amnesty)
NO TO MCLAME
NO TO ANY REPUB. WHO VOTED FOR THE FIRST BAILOUT

The Huckster also supported cap-and-tax.
The Huckster also supported Big Government from cradle to grave.
The Huckster is a Marxist in Republican clothing, just like Juan McQueeg, Myth Romney, and Rooty Frooty Ghouliani.

The New York Times picked the Republican nominee in 2008 and then threw him under the bus. Don't let them pick our nominee in 2012.

Is any Republican with any chance of winning actually running in 2010 against either Schumer and the woman who was appointed to replace Hillary? I know both US Senate seats are up for election in 2010.

He would have to be a fool to do that after his disastrous showing last time. He should do something positive and run for Governor, at least it’s something he could win, and a job badly in need of credible leadership.

Pataki could take out Gillibrand. Nobody will take out Schumer, that trash will hold the seat for as long as he wants it.
