Joint sessions are for State of the Union addresses, and important speeches like war and national calamity, not as some venue for a townhall astroturf “save my ass” speech.
One thing he’s not talking about is the provision of Y1 (Year one). After the Bill is implemented you will not be able to change health insurance companies, or change your policy. If you do, you will be forced onto the Public Policy. After Y1, insurance companies will not be able to write “new” policys. After Y1, everyone will have to go to the Public Policy. It will no longer be an option.
Don’t buy this load of BS. “Lull your opponent into a false sense of security then strike while his guard is down.”
AND, if this doesn’t give Obama what he want’s, he’ll find some other way to lie to the public.
