Obama, Clinton at Cronkite Memorial (Sep 9 on CBS)

CBS just now released a bunch of details for the Cronkite memorial, which'll be Sept. 9, 10:30 a.m. at Avery Fisher...The big news Prez Obama will speak. Bill Clinton too! That's a little surprising, considering these guys didn't know each other particularly well....Mickey Hart, of the Dead, might seem to be a little unsual too, but he and Walter were buddies (though I'm reasonably certain Cronkite was not a Deadhead.)

Bet NOTHING will be ‘remembered’ by this loser on 9/11. Nothing.

I’m starting to get a whiff of a posthumous Nobel Peace Prize here. Could be a tossup between Crankcase and Dead Red Ted.

Hillary is such a nobody.

Bill seems to be getting a lot of press, though.

The Obama presidency is a culmination of the 1968 New Democrats revolution, which Cranky Cronkite helped promote at the 1968 convention. He did a slight mea culpa after the public got furious with his coverage. But that’s all water under the bridge now.

Long story short, those who rioted in Chicago both inside the hall and outside now run the Democrat Party.

Who would’ve thought that the organizer of the 1969 riot (Days of Rage) and subsquent 1970s terrorist bombings would mentor the President of the United States seated forty years later?

Can’t we leave him on vacation....it’s been so nice not seeing him on t.v. everyday (even though they show his picture all day)!

Trying to drum up support with the seniors by standing next to a cardboard cutout of Cronkite.....pathetic.
