DOJ to Hire 50 More Lawyers, Gear Up for Civil Rights Enforcement Drive

The U.S. Department of Justice is gearing up for a renewed emphasis on traditional civil rights enforcement after a shift in focus during the administration of former President George W. Bush to a greater emphasis on religious rights, human trafficking and individual cases in which there was evidence of intentional discrimination.
Under Attorney General Eric Holder, the DOJ is planning to bring more disparate-impact cases based on statistical evidence that minorities are treated less favorably in arenas ranging from housing to hiring, reports the New York Times.

You know, while this is bad news, take encouragement for O’s habits of laziness and passivity. I picture these lawyers wasting a lot of time and resources and not getting much done.

This is exactly what Obama wants. This is a massive redistribution of wealth. White seniors will be the first victims. And the U.S. govt, IRS, et al knows who are Republicans and who are Democrats. And the IRS is filled with Democrats.

Well I have nothing against hiring black women, but another thing I might have said is that this legal action along with new energy taxes and other restriction are great policies if you want to slow hiring and extend the recession.
I wish the people being hired were at the bottom of their classes! These folks will be limousine liberals at the top of their classes. Scrappy C students would be preferable.
They can piss up a rope. I’m over their sh*t. I won’t hire any minorities now, just to spite them.
