These hilarious pictures show how Sara the dog loves nothing better than to spend her days on the swings at her local park.
In one of the weirdest canine behaviours, the Labrador-Chow cross even goes beserk with excitement when her loving owners mention the word 'swing'.
She even prefers it to going for a walk.
While most would expect a dog's favourite activity to be chasing rabbits or sniffing around woods - happy Sara almost seems to smile as she contentedly rocks back and forth.
Real estate developer Erik Lanier, from Boone, North Carolina, USA, discovered Sara's secret love when he first took kids Elisabeth, nine, Joshua, 11 and Daniel, 15, to the park.
He said: 'Judging by her reaction when we say the "S" word to her I'd say that it's clear that being on that swing is her favourite place.
'She doesn't even go as crazy when we ask if she wants to go for a walk.'
He added: 'I don't know if a dog can smile, but coming from someone who knows her better than anyone, it certainly seems that she does.'
And to make sure Sara stays happy they have to take her down to the park several times a week make sure she gets her 'swing-fix'.
Dad Erik, 42, said he, housewife Jenny, 43, and the rest of the family get startled looks from passers-by as they witness soothed Sarah sat upright in the swing seat - just like a child.

My brother has a dog that is an amazing soccer player (golden lab).
I predict my dog would do as well in a swing as he did when I had the brilliant idea to bring him along on a float trip...but this is cute.
I had a yellow lab/chow mix. Big old grump of a dog, but he was the best.
I was coaching a little boys’ soccer team. My husband was on the side lines with our golden. The golden loves soccer. She was real excited cause the ball landed near her on the side lines and she broke off her collar and went after it. She would hit it with her snout and she could lift it, too. She ran around with all those little kids chasing her trying to get the ball back. It was a riot. Finally she heard me calling her back, let the kids have the field and ball back and permitted the game to resume.
She was a good soccer player. She passed away a long time ago and I still miss her.
Half Chow? Don't see it. But cool story anyway, thanks!
Want berserk? Whisper "crow" or "squirrel" into my mutt's ear, then stand back! :-)
We have two labradoodles-- the younger one LOVES to play soccer!
That is so adorable!
LOL!
What a nice video, thanks.
Very nice story, thanks.
Well, my cat, Xiao Hu loves to be put in a shopping bag and swung in 360 degree circles! Totally baffling behavior for a cat. Right now, she’s draped around my neck, and purring mightily!
If I did that my cat would kill me the minute he got out of the bag!
Thanks for the story. Companion animals are the best.
Thank you for the post. My friends are feline and a little more circumspect in their responses, but love me (and I them) just as much!
Thanks for the laugh!
Yup! Totally irrational behavior for a cat! I’ve had katz for 60 of my 62 years, and this “little tiger” is, without a doubt, an Einstein amongst katz. She continually surprises me with her intelligence! Who says katz ain’t smart?
My dog, Miko, likes to play UNO...
